Yeah, this dog and pony show spilled over onto a game I was actually interested in. They just cut off the end of my game to broadcast the tip off of this one. I just flipped over to the MVC semifinal so I could see some real basketball by quality teams. Duke wants nothing to do with Loyola Chicago or Drake. But yeah, let's stop the whole world for coach K's final game. I can't believe the refs weren't paid off in advance to insure a Duke win here. I honestly don't know why they didn't just cancel all other college games on this day. I think the commentators, media, and analysts were all pissed that they had to be bothered with any other games than this one. I hope both of these teams completely implode their dynasties and tradition after this season.

This victory was amazing.... the FF victory was out of this world

Tickets went for 5K. Duke fans watched the best loss money could buy!

Hubert Davis just earned his job for as long as he wants with that one win !!!!!!!

As a UNC grad, I've got to say that this was one of the most satisfying wins against Duke I've ever seen!

Jay Williams calling for a timeout with 3:51 left in the game (15:28 in this video) is one of the most satisfying highlights of the night, and man did it have a lot of competition. And to think this was made to look inconsequential only a month later.... Bet no one pulls the "farewell tour" shit ever again. The universe spoke.

It’s June 3, and I just watched it again. The only thing better was the Final Four. So freakin tired of the K retirement tour. Coach Smith was the winningest coach of all time when he retired, but he didn’t want all the freakin pomp. dook will be forever chasing the best program in college basketball. Go Tar Heels!

He could have just left the game as Roy Williams did. Humbly and with integrity. Instead, he took a victory lap and had to make sure he took the spotlight one more time before he left. This is what happens when your coach is a selfish narcissist.

Oh and let's not forget their so called "hiring process " for coach k replacement. Apparently the powers at be within duke university wanted Tommy amakar. But coach k insisted it be scheyer. I understand you've built this program to what it is and as much as I hate to say it....coach k will go down as the greatest college basketball coach ever and one of the greatest coaches ever right up their with Phil Jackson, Bill belechick. But you're retiring. Go away and spend time with your grandkids. Let the duke hierarchy like the current chancellor and AD make that decision. Jon scheyer could've stayed on as an assistant since he's built relationships with the current recruits but Tommy deserved a fair chance at coaching his Alma mater And this is exactly why I love Carolina basketball...they did it right like a "family" roy Williams went out gracefully. Roy, Bubba and the unc chancellor made a collective agreement to hire Hubert. "Brotherhood" ??? that just sounds narcissistic all over

The last time Duke had 5 NBA players playing. Tonight they only had one. Ranchero is starting to tire as the season goes. Thats not Duke's biggest problem. They don't have a point guard. This won't hold well in the tournament. The Heels are better suited for a one an done in this situation. But the Heels are playing with house money an if I'm a higher seed in their bracket I'm getting nervous because they are starting to play at a high level. Go Heels!

The Chef got served a big L for his last home game by the true kings of college ball.

This game was great, but it wasn't enough. Now, beating Duke in the final 4 on Coach K's actual last game... that was the finale.

My team shocked me. We played tough tonight. We been getting blown out by quality teams and we wouldn't fight back. Davis is starting to a awesome player. Bacot got to stay out of foul trouble he our big man we need him. Leaky black is playing better. Love is playing better. Braden is giving us good 3 -points shooting. R Davis carried us tonight. To be honest I didn't think bacot could play with Duke big players. He seems to struggle with big players his size. We got potential. We going as far as bacot go. Can he lead us to a championship?

That was an AWESOME game followed up by a repeat performance in the Final 4 to send Coach K into retirement with a loss.

Imagine being Coach K and having to live with that for the rest of your life. That would suck! But, he's rich so I guess he'll get by.

This would have been the icing on the cake if Duke had won which he assumed he would. But instead it became a PIE in his face he will never get over. He don’t tend any games because the memories are too painful. He should have chosen his last home game someone he could beat--definitely not Carolina.

Sooooo sweet.

Pure bliss. Nothing could be finer than to beat a bunch of elitists on their home floor for Krzyzewski's final game. I watched that man get all the calls over the years, this was one game where he should have brought his checkbook like so many nights before, but I guess he figured it was a given. It wasn't. But shortly after this, the win in the Final Four for Carolina was even better.

I’ve been a UNC fan for 45 years and last year was the best year of them all to of beat Dook on coach K’s last game at home and then the final four! More satisfying then winning the championship

I agree to an extent although rankings do matter for seeding in the big tourny and confidence in general. Just saw the new AP Poll has them at 25. The dub against Duke was huge for confidence and entering the rankings right at the end of the regular season shows that their raising their game right at the perfect time. This team is dangerous and could do some damage this post-season.
