Co-z sliding gate opener from Amazon what you need to know before buying!

Ойындар

I don’t go into a lot of detail as some KZreadrs have gone into detail that I didn’t what I will tell you is what they don’t and what is needed. This project took me 20+ hours 2 weekends plus trips to Home Depot. The garage door company wanted to make me a new gate and charge me $1000.00 I think I’ll do it my self

This guy is a real do-it-yourselfer, and hats off on the amazing improvisation to get it working. Get the basics and pretty it up later. Thanks!

I really appreciate you making this video; beats some of the other ones I've seen. I am on day 2 of installing my CO-Z gate opener and I was wondering who had written the instructions. Scratched my head several times, I even found an error. So your explanation makes sense. They could have done a better job on explaining the process regarding the electrical, the testing and also what do they consider left and right to be. There are too many inconsistencies. I used my common sense. I did have a chain breaker to shorten my original chain. The chains they provided are too short. Thanks again.

Just make sure to mount 1 magnet low and 1 high compared to the magnet switch inside where the motor is. If you mount in middle the machine gets confused location of open/closed magnet.

Whatever works. You should tighten the chain up a bit to get rid of the slack.

Dude! You have a lot of faith in zip ties. Also, how is one magnet different from the other?

I eventually found a welder after a year and the zip ties were still good the magnets were loose inside and so if you don’t place them right the gate can’t tell if it’s opening or closing

FYI the magnets are the same. There isn't an open and close magnet.

Yes but they are loose inside so one has to be higher and lower
