@@SanjeeSen hey mate, i need your help in with STAKE for US trading but they put their fees up from FREE to US$3 a trade, i wanted to join CMC markets im in australia of course, but all there reviews are terrible is it that bad or not really? ive read brokerage is FREE but min is $1000 to buy, there is also an inactivity fee i think, im more a buy and hold investor not trader, what do you think about CMC for international buying? is it ok? cheers

@@SanjeeSen when i look on the CMC aussie site it shows there is an inactivity fee but the CMC US site shows no inactivity fee, PLUS its only $0 brokerage in australia US UK canadian and jap shares, if you want to buy shares in germany france and the 15 other exchanges its $59, that sucks

CMC markets don't support this feature as of now. Stake, pearler, and Vanguard personal accounts have these capabilities.

Great question, not in my experience. I’m just doing a video now on DCA and CMC is not really a great platform for the automation side. I’d say other platforms are better for this.

Is it actually $0 fee each day under $1000 ?? For the same ETF or stocks? Or is it only the 1st but up to $1000 portfolio and as soon as your ETF more do you need to pay $11 per trade?

Is there a minimum amount you can use per trade? Is it possible to have a good risk manegment with a 200 dollar Account on Cmc market? (For Forex trading)

Is not free, over 1000 you cash, and yes is a lot of FX fee I think 2% and some other fees

Getting these people will ease a lot. And at last, you’ll realise you have safe your funds. E.g. first time I purchased VAS i had to buy for 400+ and first time with WOW, the same? Is that how CMC works? That sounds unpractical... I think that is the minimum purchase amount for new holdings on the ASX. Can't get around it unfortunately irrespective of the platform you use.

Hi, CMC is actually a terrible app to use for DCAing. I recently did a video on this. I find it is a very manual process of organising the transfers and then manually making the purchases. I don't mind doing it, but others might prefer platforms like Pearler, Commsec Pocket, Stake etc.

This is the one thing that keeps me from bringing everything over to CMC from CommSec, is that you have to pay for Live Data. Also as you mentioned in a previous video, how the purchase price per unit doesn't change if you manually add it in after the transfer has been completed. I have a friend who works at CMC and he was saying there is a new platform due in the next 12 or so months so hopefully we'll see some improvements.

I didn’t get one thing Do you have to have two seperate bank accounts? One for deposit, one for withdrawal Or Can you use same bank account for withdrawing money????

I am going to open one myself, do the trial, deposit small amount then withdraw some, see how it goes, the $0 fee under $1k is so good, worse case I'll just transfer out to other broker.

Agreed. CMC doesnt have payID or Osko from Macquarie, so I have to wait a business day to see cash I transfer in. Superhero was brilliant in that regard. But again, Superhero not CHESS sponsored so that was too much of a long term risk

They really need to make the website nice to use , it feels like using warehousing software from 1999

Fair enough - I do think the extra few days are annoying.

CMC markets are one of the worst if you trade US and other international markets, They don't show FX fees on annual statements. They hide it from you. Who knows how much fx fee you pay. Instead of hiding it, CMC markets show how much fees the customer pays.

CMC website says you can make additional investments if less than $500 after your first trade (stocks). Anyone used this feature and know how it works?
