Yeah it could've being punks fault or someone else's, but personally I don't really care what a wrestler is backstage, I'm a fan of punk and Idk Phill brooks at all Some people even now seemed to have had fine relationship with Phill backstage, whilst some not so much, so this whole thing is individually And example would be that I can have a great relationship with Phill, while you not so much with him, so again depends on the person.

And he seems like such a every day kinda guy with some honestly good knowledge, most people like to spew that oh wrestlers are muscle brained, they're actually not. However I think Cm Punk's honestly is what killed his career he's just too upfront for his own good. Now I myself like that about him I think its a wonderful quality to have as a person, but in a two faced business like professional wrestling where the object is to lie cheat and steal as eddie's theme once said, Phil just isn't going to work out in that environment.

I mean, other wrestlers who were & are still friends with Punk have talked about how it wasn't necessarily his honesty that was an issue, it was him getting pissed off over something & getting "too honest" aka being a huge asshole about things. Afterwards he'd cool off & most of the time he'd apologize without being asked or anything, but sometimes he wouldn't make amends & that kind of built up bad blood over time with certain unnamed people in the WWE, both other wrestlers & execs. Jericho & Edge both have told stories on other podcasts about incidents with Punk, like not even being directly involved but simply being in the same locker room, & having to get Punk to apologize or to act as mediators to calm things down. That's not to say Punk is to blame for his ending in the WWE or that he's even an asshole, because overwhelmingly people say he's awesome/great friend/very generous/etc., & pro wrestling locker rooms are going to be a high testosterone, volatile atmosphere, but Punk had a track record of building up things to explosions & for some in WWE, they got tired of it. Taking a long vacation probably would've helped, but the truth is Punk was burned out & didn't really want to wrestle anymore.

John Oliver's report on WWE described CM Punk's circumstances beautifully. CM Punk would have loved the same health and leave benefits of an employee. He was on independent contractor, so he has the power to dictate when he works. It is a glaring weak spot for the WWE so the had to ghost each other. His decision is aging well and its wisdom is showing through.

It's not quitting because they are supposed to contact him after he left and tell him that he breached his contract, which they didn't. So legally, he didn't breach his contract (and even if they did, he probably could have won against them in court since they are independent contractors). But they did put in his release papers that he wouldn't be receiving his royalties because he "breached his contract," which led to Punk suing them in 2014 and then WWE settling out of court since you can't retroactively claim breach of contract.

Well he was bitter when Miz main evented a wrestlemania while he never did, he even thought a match with Taker at Wrestlemania is a puny accomplishment. Like FFS really?!🤦🏻‍♂️Thats about it, basically all that money he made from WWE made him too prideful and proud that he wanted to be at the very top even after being the longest WWE champ was not enough for him. His head got big, his persona Best in the World really got in his head. He left around the time when he and Daniel Bryan are the faces of WWE. He wasted his talent and let his fans down. Now he’s stuck in the sidelines talking smack, cause thats all he can do now, after his sad attempt in the UFC. Lmfao

Well if you check your facts WWE fired him on his honeymoon. They also neglected his injuries. Like when Ryback threw him off the ramp and completely missed the table. Or when Kofi clotheslined him giving him a concussion. Don't forget when he had an infection, and still decided to compete caused him to crap his pants. So, because of those injuries he missed one show as a result they decided to fire him. And about the money, he didn't care about that at the time, when he was champ he sold more shirts then Cena and when he was fired he told WWE they could sell the rest of his merch without giving him revenue. As for his matches, he told Vince when he came back he wanted to compete in meaningful matches win or lose and wasn't really looking to become champion, that's showing no symptom's of "his head got big" or caught up in his persona. And when he did get a chance to main event he declined the opportunity. Lastly you can't say he's stuck in the sidelines talking smack when they start it, Stephanie called him a loser in his hometown. Now WWE calling his phone asking him to come back to wrestle.

Well exactly, how the hell does Miz headline a WM but Punk doesn't? That just encapsulates what's wrong with that company. Miz was a kiss arse, like Cena, like Orton, like Roman Reigns. They only went with Punk because he was too over for them not to, and no one's been as over since him. Sure he was full of himself, there's no one that gets to his level that's not full of themselves, he just doesn't hide it.

Vince don't play that shit. Like dude go get checked out and get a doctors statement saying you cant wrestle yet. Then they have to take you seriously. Especially HR. He was just a being diva as hell. And sorry dude there are good wrestlers with potential that would kill for his bookings. Then he even goes on to say that no one called him after the two months. No you go back the day after and smooth shit out with your boss. He obviously thought and still thinks hes the one that keeps the wheels spinning and he isn't. Not one single man will ever be in a company that big. And people act like it's cm punks choice to not come back. Maybe the wwe don't want his diva ass back. 😂 I would just have him job to everyone if he ever did come back. He had an opportunity to become one of the biggest next to hogan stone cold the rock undertaker but he chose to say fuck it. He should of known vince wasn't gonna take that shit for long.

Dr. Chris Amann, WWE's doctor, failed to diagnose him. He did get checked out. Dr. Amann didn't diagnose what was wrong with him and kept giving him Z-packs instead. Punk was seriously ill. That's why he was throwing up constantly backstage and why he shit himself during a match on Smackdown, because they'd pumped him full of antiobiotics rather than address what the problem was. He did later get diagnosed by a real doctor. WWE didn't give a shit. In fact, Dr. Amann sued him for defamation when Punk talked about the whole situation... and lost. And there are people who do get preferential treatment and can do whatever they like. It's why Randy Orton can repeatedly fail drug tests way beyond what should have had him terminated by now but still stay there. It's why Jimmy Uso gets pulled over every other week drunk-driving and gets rewarded with the tag belts. Looks like he's doing pretty okay at the moment, either way.

@@moonsaves Gotta love when these idiots speak on shit that they haven’t researched first like everyone in the wrestling industry didn’t know about how shitty WWE’s doctors where with Punk. The next Stone Cold, the next Undertaker? Vince actually respected those guys first off and let them go to get better and have proper surgery along with his own Son in law Triple H. Vince may have had him booked like a Star most of the time but behind the scenes it’s obvious they didn’t give a shit about his well being and we’re more concerned with making a profit by using a guy they knew the fans loved. These WWE apologists make me fucking sick because they actually have the audacity to defend someone as reprehensible and McMahon.
