Sounds about right. My mom saw him at a concert in Charlotte almost 20 years ago. He was with who is now an ex wife and some of his children (and apparently was very drunk). When my mom approached him the ex wife tried turning her away and saying they were out spending time together as a family and that he doesn’t want to be bothered, and in the middle of the rant Ric cut her off and said people like these are who made me what I am today and I’ll always have time for them, then proceeded to talk to her for a minute before taking a picture and signing an autograph. Still have them both

Flair embodies a wrestler who became the gimmick in real life. How Flair is still living with his lifestyle is a miracle. Dude has been drunk every day since 1974. Especially now that he's not wrestling anymore, his entire life is just a debauchery filled party. Tony said that him and Flair day drank from 130-8 and he was still sober after 17 vodka cranberries. You know you drink a lot when your bodies tolerance to alcohol is 17 vodka cranberries worth.

As an amateur wrestler up until high school, was humbled attempting placement in college. Kurt Angle is definitely the greatest of all time. Then transitioned perfectly into Professional Wrestling, while still hanging true to his roots, and helping pioneer actual wrestling into the Sports Entertainment.

I mostly agree and Angle is one of my favourite ever but wrasslin had its roots in amateur wrestling, Stu Hart for example was an amateur wrestler in the 30s which ultimately resulted in Bret Hart having the style he had. Back in the day most people thought professional wrestling was real and many many wrestlers went from amateur to professional. There were many others before Bret Hart.

A man with a severe addiction to drinking and this exactly what keeps addiction going in this world it’s being glorified entertainment. Why can’t they see he’s severely lonely and wants true friends?? True happiness? Then when he’s gone and it’s all out it’ll still be entertainment oh wish I would’ve or could I have for him. If any of these people had a once of admiration for that man they’d have fun doing something sober. Sure he’d find it else where but wouldn’t be at their expense or on their plate.
