Like in this interview he was cool with WWE and wrestling and didn't hold any anger towards any of it anymore. It was kind of surprising after following everything that had happened, he even said he'd be willing to go back, even to WWE but just the offer would have to be mind blowingly good because he feels like there's nothing really left for him to do.

I never understood his appeal, but that's just me, although I can see why he was/is over. If he ever did come back it wouldn't be a surprise. The irony of him talking with a dude from PWInsider is that it would be the same dude to break that news of him signing a contract. And not only that,WWE would announce it for ratings and to sell tickets. I'm sure hed still get a decent Pop but nowhere near an unannounced return would be.

He has mellowed out. I love that. Would love to see him in the ring again. But, I think he’s happy now. He did the UFC thing although unsuccessfully he still did it. Not many people can say that. I think he’s more open to a return now. Whether it’s in AEW or elsewhere if the storyline makes sense for him. But if he never wrestles again. At least he appreciated and now thinks fondly of his experiences good or bad. That’s awesome. Good for him.

I think secretly he wants to come back to wrestling, but his ego wouldn't allow him to admit it. If he came back now it would mean he didn't make it outside of wrestling and that he failed. The Rock once said something like this, that he only came back to the WWE as a conquering hero. Because he didn't want people to think that he only came back because he couldn't make it in Hollywood.

It’s nice he’s cool with recalling past WWE moments. Last time I remember this being brought up, I think an article said he 100% didn’t want to talk about his time in the WWE. Of course I think it was only like a year after he left. Also just a personal thing, I wish people would stop taunting him about his MMA career. Yeah he didn’t help because he talked so big about him having a new career and he was gonna give his all and even had a special building up to his debut only for him to lose. If he didn’t make such a big thing about being done with pro wrestling, calling it fake and then hyping his mma career, maybe the criticism he faced from fans wouldn’t be as bad. I didn’t care much about him saying wrestling is fake because I know he lived the life so he knew just how real it was. I just chalked that comment up to him being bitter with the WWE and becoming sick of pro wrestling because of it. Yeah I get why a lot of fans turned on him and hate him now, but I still like him. Rock vs Punk was a real good match at the Royal Rumble and both were built solid. Liked the fact that Wwe gave Punk the win meaning he did not lose and then restarted the match for the People's Elbow and the roof blew off when The Rock became Champion.

To be fair Rock hasn't appeared since then, he did collaborate on the 2K18 OST that year and continues to be in the WWE games to this day, but we haven't seen him appear on a program since then.

Matt N Vince didn't have a problem with CM Punk it was Triple H that had a problem with CM Punk. he didn't really like CM Punk because Punk used to tell him how he felt about him face to face and he didn't like that. plus Triple H wanted to wrestle CM Punk at WM 30 but Punk said no because he wanted to be in the Main Event of WM 30 fighting for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Randy Orton but Triple H didn't give him the match and instead acted like a asshole about it so Punk left .

I was there when it happened!! It was such a cool moment!
