Obviously this is all testimony but, if true, this is extremely concerning. I'll be blunt, Daft Pina has been an extremely disingenuous creator and person for a long time now. There's a massive video essay that was released on him that lays it all out. After seeing that video (again - IF this is 100% accurate)v I am not surprised this happened. Daft's past is riddled with times where he has a certain agenda to portray someone in the worst possible light for petty reasons (I.E trying to use extremely flimsy evidence to portray TheOdd1sOut as a racist because James rightfully chewed Daft out in DMs and cut contact). However, this is all a step farther, even for Daft. Not just because of orchestrating a piece to attack someone's relationship (whether justified or not) but by manipulating a different creator into being the one to do it.

When that video came out I was baffled as to why he thought it was a good idea to air out such personal matters, involving things the victim in question didn't even want public. Then I remembered he's like, 18. He was very clearly manipulated by people older than him. I'm very happy that he realized his mistake and tried to fix the damage done, as well as address who started this. I honestly didn't know Daft was such a menace. Point being, I don't think that this mistake being immortalized is entirely unreasonable, it was a catastrophic failure, but he shouldn't be disgraced for it, especially considering his age.

It's never easy when you're young to know who to trust, and especially when so many of your peers are in their mid 20's that clearly lack any real-world sense themselves. It's going to be hard for a awhile. And I won't lie; it's going to hurt sometimes. But good, quality friends are worth going through that learning experience. A real friend will stand by you when you're right, and stand AGAINST you when you're wrong. And you'll be able to do the same.

I feel like you went about handling this mistake very maturely and appropriately. You didn't lash out, you recognized your faults and tried your best to fix them, and you explained everything clearly and truthfully. My view of you hasn't been affected negatively in any way due to this, rather I just see a still fairly young creator who made some poor choices that he has tried his best to fix, and that shows me that you never had any ill intentions. I wish you the best going forward and hope that this situation doesn't affect you too badly

I didn't know Daft was actually THAT slimy, but hey, now it makes me rethink the whole situation. Either way, great move, shows a hell of a lot of maturity. Take care! Just an addendum: The Veronica/Mark stuff is vague, and none of our business, so what the public should do is just leave it be. Sunny though, is just not a good guy, don't let that stuff go. I've gave multiple statements regarding the entire situation when it started and even spoke on that one podcast you were in (I was one of the callers, Liam) I thought at first you were doing the right thing but also didn't know who any of the ppl you mentioned in the video (aside from the one who was alledgedlly being abused). The section on Sonny I still stand by aside from what Daft insisted on at the end of the video, mostly because I was a victim of something similar to what he had done to Doobus, it's almost identical. By the time the podcast came up, I felt embarassed as it went on when more stuff was said. The video however, did have good intentions as you were concerned with the situation, you just went about it the wrong way is all but, you're still young, you're 18, I was that same age when I made a huge mistake as well that got me in a situation like Doobus was in. I'm glad you made this in responce and I think you truly learned from what happened, you were brave enough to make this responce and apologize, something most people aren't capable of doing for whatever reason. I tried reaching out to you before, both on Discord and Twitter, and the last thing I'll say is, good on you for cutting Daft off. Hey man, I just want to say I appreciate you trying to do the right thing. I admire your ability to take responsibility. I can tell (From this) that you're a good person who made a mistake and wants to make it right.

Not surprised Daft played a role in this. This has always been his MO.

If you're stupid and naive to believe a shady person's every opinion online that's usually what happens.

In all honesty, I don't know anything about all this because I didn't even see the video this was all about, nor do I know the couple or the people being spoken about, apart from DaftPina.. He has ALWAYS given me kind of unusual, light red flag vibes, maybe it's his unique style or how he presents himself but he always acted so... above it all. As if he was better than everyone else.. I think he has some serious issues that might need therapy or help to improve upon. I'm glad you were able to cleanly clear the air here though, Braxton. You seem like a genuine and nice person and it's not often I see an "apology" style video actually receive positive feedback from not just me but a lot of others. I'm sure your intentions were only good. But being goaded into a bad situation can be a confusing experience, especially when one's own good intentions are tangled up in the mess. Taking responsibility seems to be the main thing most people want to see when someone messes up, and you did that well.

Ah, no wonder I had a bad feeling when you mentioned Daftphina in that video. I know about him because of Just A Robot. But I brushed it off since the words was coming from you who, I consider to be more consistent in what they say (especially during your commentary video days). I can see how Daftphina used you. But I think I can get it. There are some friends who may seem good to you, but won't blink twice when it's time to use you. Still, that doesn't entirely put you out of the blame. I'm glad you acknowledged that, and I am happy that you've chosen to take responsibility. We've made mistakes and sometimes we have to take responsibility for them. So good on you for that. I won't lie. I was a bit worried about you after you deleted the video, so I do hope you do okay. You got a good heart. Don't forget that. Anyway I look forward to your return to usual content. Never stop doing what you love, Just Stop.

I have a very strong feeling that this might open the door to some more commentary videos on Daft and this entire situation.

Daftpina is definitely that has shown toxic behaivor for quite awhile. Mainly from both his own videos and also to have petty drama over things that he could easily have done privately. You did good JS, keep doing what you love and you will get support back.

when the video covering it came out I couldn't even believe it tbh. Especially because I didn't see the video JS posted. felt like nothin was real.

Look, while that was a dumb thing to do. We all make mistakes man. I think you have patched things up. Maybe you could go up to him and talk with him about this. Also. Maybe no more commentary stuff. Just Reviews . Even Just a robot is leaving the commentary community.

Relooking at the Toons Drama, Daft being the instigator should've been a major red flag.
