The people who made this documentary and even the police in it don't fully understand meth, and how to make it. Which is a little scary in itself. Meth isn't going to go away. It's too easy to make I can have shake made in 30 minutes or ice in an hour. The only thing that can be done is better education for the public. That and fixing the economy and quality of life in the place you live. Happy people don't use meth. Only miserable people

Its been an epidemic here in Calif for 40 years, and all theyve done is make me i d for sudafed and tell me im not able to get pain medicine. No kids here are on pain meds, theyre on street stuff.

It’s something above 90% of her ion addicts start with pain meds. It’s how all my friends in high school became drug addicts they started with prescription meds. These meds shouldn’t be prescribed easily and only fort short periods if time

Narcissism and substance abuse are like peas and carrots. Some are rotten before starting and some become that way after using. There are also a lot of naturally overly empathetic drug addicts after they recover. It's either one or the other it seems.

I had a long dance with alcohol. I should be dead. I am grateful I could not use stimulants without severe anxiety. Anxiety save my life. I thought it was destroying it. It comes on when I am not doing right. I am 4 years sober. Sad thing is I moved where I thought there would not be a lot of drug related problems. Pop. 165 and still I have been told the trashy people living over the hill supply the whole area with meth. The DA knows but does nothing. At least I can grow my herb in peace. Fingers crossed.

I dealt with alcohol too, brother, and it was bad. Saw maybe half a dozen doctors (including addiction specialists) and they all called me a liar to my face. They would say a guy as young as me couldn't have the drinking problem I did, and said I was a junkie looking for pills. Never ran any tests to prove their claims, just ignored what I told them. I was mid to late 20s. My alcoholism actually masked hepatitis. I had an enlarged liver, and me and my family doctor both safely assumed it was the 40oz bottle of liquor a day. Found out I had antibodies for it years later lol.

They say "lithium from batteries, which will burn the skin on contact" and then they show an alkaline battery - which does not contain lithium. So much for the drug-makers being "amateur scientists" - the journalist who make this video are incompetent journalists. By the way, at the time when Albert Einstein came up with world-changing scientific hypotheses in his _annus mirabilis_ publications, in 1905 - he was an amateur scientist. He had not yet secured professional employment as a scientist. To survive, he was working as a patent clerk. I'm not trying to tell you I think it is safe to live next to a illegal drug lab. I wouldn't want to live there. I just wanted to give you an idea about the education and knowledge of the people who made this movie. These are not knowledgeable people. They are people who simply repeat what other people, tell them, people who they think, correctly or incorrectly, are "authorities" on a subject, as opposed to people who are experts in a subject.

I agree with you on the fact that the people who made this documentary don’t have proper knowledge on this subject. But I think what they mean by amateur chemists is the fact that the vast majority of people who used to manufacture domestic speed found a “recipe” that they followed, like shake n bake, rather than knowing what is actually happening from a molecular perspective, like a real chemist would.

I agree completely, I'm sick of watching ill informed documentaries spinning the same nonsense. No wonder people are clueless if this type of material is their source! Watched a doc about coke in the eu and it completely lost me when it started talking about how it gets cur more and more at each part of its journey lol! Crack is rife in the uk and I presume across the eu so bashed sniff wouldn't be any good to anyone. We regularly see more than a tonne being busted en route and I don't know any cartel who has the time, the locations and the people to cut those 1000+ kg blocks into 2000+! When 500kg was a big bust maybe that practice occurred but not in the 2020's

Ok, for one, meth and coke are never cooked in a spoon! You only use a little water, Heroin is the only drug that is heated for iv use. I know from personal experience. Also, I used for many years, and never got paranoid, heard voices, or anything like that. I did, however, have a terrible temper and rage issue if I got really upset. Having been clean now for a few years, my brain is back, I got my teeth fixed, and am pretty healthy by God's grace. I feel for the young pschizo guy in this, he's in really bad shape, and I knew the way he was talking, he wasn't ready to quit, and it is not helping!

They're saying you mix them with water but don't add heat for iv... I imagine it's all a personal preference and depends on quality and cut agents as well as the chemical of choice and where it originates. Black tar is gonna need a different method than number 4 China white. Mexican brown and gray rock junk will need heat probably, pure h won't need any heat and will dissolve in water on its own. I always heated oc time release name brand, however it's not needed

Simply put, yes you can use both intravenously. Meth in an IV is the most extreme but it is water soluble.

Brother i was a functioning user. Never got in trouble financially stable responsible and all that. Then i dated a girl that wanted me to stop told everyone and shit went hay wire. Literally if i never got with her i wouldnt have had to stop. Life in shambles and had to build from the ground up again. Havent been able to do it ever since. Paranoia off the charts and everyone making shit harder for me or shaming me. Joined the army and now im taking orders and doing dumb shit day in day out just to rebuild my name back home. If it werent for her and her need for control of everything i would have been better off.
