Great inspiration for tomorrow’s cocktail party

Pink & burg were all the rage when I was in the 7th grade - along with madras plaids. Time is so telling for me . . . Also, I am loving the classy outfit series. More, please.

A blazer over a turtleneck is one of my favorite classics, either with a skirt or trousers, or a blazer over a turtleneck dress. The details, like colors, patterns, knit textures, might vary from time to time, but this look never goes out of style, maybe because it’s so warm, practical and easy. It can look professional, but still casual. I also love a blazer over a classic shirt and slim-fit vest, and it’s a little easier to modify this ensemble for changing temperatures during the day. I can get overheated indoors in a warm turtleneck.

Just love that red jumper and checked jacket in the first look. Green trench is a nice alternative to beige. But the pink and burgundy ai love. just looks sophisticated. A very classy combination which I'm definitely going to copy !great ideas and so affordable too thanks Gemma x

Thank you I had recently purchased a leather burgundy skirt late last year and I had no were to go to were it,but now I do and I was just thinking this morning to team the skirt with a silk blouse that is in pink but you know when you have a moment of doubt, you have put my mind at ease in that I was thinking on the right track thanks for the daily inspiration sometimes it's really helpful to see something from a different perspective and refresh the items you have in your closest.

Your styling videos have been so helpful, after watching some of your videos, I found the perfect burgundy coat ( jacket) . I never thought of mixing it with pink but I pulled out a pink bag and also bought a pink scarf. Both of them are quite bright pink ( one is closer to hot pink) but I feel maybe a paler pink might be better with Burgundy. What do you think? Anyway thank you for all your great videos. XOXOX

I’ve been looking for ages for genuine-leather knee-high boots, with a low, but not flat heel, in burgundy and olive. These are two basic wardrobe colors for me. No luck yet.
