Man. I've been subscribed to this channel for so long, and these are the videos I miss the most. CGR was awesome. Then this channel changed a bunch of times.
Holy shit, l didn't know SNK made a 64 bit Neo Geo!!
Holy cow! Yes! Awesome to have the samba intro song back into the mix. The updated intros are great, Mark!
The music and the sound effects sound too amazing!
The production values keep becoming more 'n' more awesome. ♥
Love the new intro! Been following you for the last few years now, because your reviews are better than most magazine/IGN crap.
I love it how mark has been going all this time and still hasn't sold out :)
I could listen to mark all day and night
This is why I love CGR. Mark's reviews are just awesome.
I gave you a thumbs up during the ad just because you are reviewing a Hyper Neo Geo 64.
The diamond plate in that El Camino looks awesome!
I was born in 1987 and I also like these videos. I was a sega kid back in the day. :)
I really like that game played it when i was a kid . Damn i miss old days playing that in the arcade .
The sound from the NG64 was amazing!
Wow great video! Last time i heard about this thing was from an old gamepro magazine i used to have. Never saw it in action until now, thanks bro!!!
I will forever have love for Neogeo, they made bad ass games that were identical to the arcade, thank you for your dedication, you rock!!

Oh my god I'm hearing the full intro for the intro song!!
i ve played this games on arcade machines when i was a kid in 1990
Enjoyed the new intro scenes from the new site.
I was born in 1994 and these video's are still super interesting to me.
If your having poor sound on your 4-slot MVS, replace all the caps in the sound section, I had to on mine.
dang, dude what do you do for a living? You have quite the collection, man. All the really cool video game stuff Ive primarily seen from you.
O O AMAZING FIND, keep up the good work Mark
another great CGR episode.
Yes! Love the newly stated CGR mission! :)
mark, how can we download the intro music? pretty badass ringtone
Any real fan of games would find the CGR videos interesting, it's a brilliant channel. I was born in 1984 by the way.
Thanks for showing me what this game looks like! I love SS series!
Is it bad that I died laughing when he said " It looks like piece of armor that fell off of Robo-Cop"
It's all the syllables in it's name that makes the thing so heavy! =O
Wow Lee is the man! Good effort to ship that from the UK!
Did you try flipping the little switch that says "MVS" > "JAMMA" ?

I have one of these a few years ago. It cost me £30 and it was new old stock. I think there are quite a few of these going spare in the UK.

When SNK ended as we once knew it a UK arcade specialist acquired all the remaining stock of Hyper 64 hardware. I actually got to see it and we are talking a huge warehouse full of to the roof of the boards. It really was quite something to see. Hence there is a lot of these units in the UK. Sadly the company it self is no more. I believe most of the stock ended up dumped on ebay and sold for next to nothing but is now going up in value again.
NEO-GEO Cabinet + hardware = Ultra cool!!
Looks like a PS2 precursor to Samurai Showdown Sen? That hardware was amazing. That was such a fun vid. Thanks!
The sound effects sound like Castlevania!! So cool
Never saw that one... I can´t believe it exist... A Neo Geo with like PS1 3D hardware.. Itá amazing.. I can´t thank you enough for seeing this Mark.
1:05 number 117. Master Chief approves.
Didn't the old Capcom arcades come with those huge cartridges too? I remember a Tec opening an x-men game at the boardwalk and I saw one of those I think.
Ever since he stopped doing Wii reviews iv had no need to even suscribe or watch his videos. x_x but i cant stop. MUST . WATCH. EVERY. EPISODE
this is really rare.. never thought that Neo Geo had a 64 bit system
The racing games for this look really fun. Xtreme Rally and Road's Edge.
Until recently, I thought 3D Neo-Geo games were pretty common. I guess they're not, but my local arcade has about 5 NG64 games.

I believe there were only 7 games made for the system in total. That's amazing that they have so many.
How much do these tend to run?
3:44 That sword sounds like the laser sword in star wars.
This intro is so nostalgic.
Beer to you, Mark.
cgr is the best reviewer on youtube PERIOD

Oh my god I want one!
OMGZ finally someone talks about this arcade board. I was a crazy fan of the Samurai Shodown games, until they made part 6.
What a fantastic intro,
new intro? classy
Cool, new intro!
I need 10 of these.
lol that intro they forgot the reverb.
Is CGR News ever coming back?
So many donations! I already have an 82 Trans Am to decorate my space arcade, I need to start one up! Sadly my TA just had an run-in with a cart return at Target so the rear bumper is stripped and new tail lights are en route! Knight Rider was all LIES!!
Not sure how easy it is to come by, but you have to try and find Beast Busters Second Nightmare.. it looks AWESOME.
Man, that's a beast.
You lucky dog ive been wanting this game.
Just need to get Beast Busters Second Revenge and the special 2 gun cabinet into space now
From the name and how it looks, I can only conclude that a Neo Geo MVS and a Nintendo 64 got it on and this was the result.
I miss this game. This game is still available on third countries like here in the Philippines :)
BEST. INTRO EVER! Or atleast best intro so far for CGR anyways. =]
Looks like the custom chips to run the game are in the cartridge.
I haven't heard of that before...
I'd say Beast Bysters: Second Nightmare is worth the money, but you'd have to get some light guns for it as well, which is going to add a considerable amount of money onto the purchase.
I have Samurai Shodown V for the original Xbox but have yet to play it. Watching this I kind of want to now.
that game looks fun.
I never knew this was made
Oooooooh, someone needs to send him Buriki-One! I saw Beast Busters Second Nightmare once running through a mall, wish I'd played it just once.
Earth to Intergalactic Space Arcade: Requesting permission to dock.
Yeah, in '97 Sega has the Model 3 and Namco the System Super 23 that where superior but no arcade board used cheap optical media till the NAOMI with GD-ROM drive so game prices wasn't an issue.
you should review blendtec blender with tom dickson
Oooooorsum new intro!
You're saying that cart is not compatible with my game boy?
To quote Total Recall "Get your ass to Mars"
It's almost like a requirement, he'll own review awesome games & equipment, or anything neo geo related, because let's be honest, Neo Geo in itself, is awesome. I know because I'm the proud owner of a Neo Geo Pocket Color, and all of 10 games. Best investment, ever.
Do you have a copy of earthbound zero?
coool! MVHH
It looks very unique, too bad it didn't sell too well, though it's not surprising by how heavy that thing looked.
oooohhh cool!
maybe u can help me am trying to find an android gamepad docking station so it will be easier for me to play games
The song is catchy
Best room ever.
Lucky bastard has a revision 2. I got a revision 1 and no idea how to set :(
Is metal slug a game for this hardware?
Epic
Bought 2 brand new hyper mobo's still in bow for $70 seven years ago. Only got 2 games though, Fatal Fury Wild Ambition and Samurai shodown 64
Did they design the characters to move that slowly or can the Hyper not handle it? Seems like a slow fighting game.
There aren't enough likes in the world to express how true this is
Review Buriki One,the best game for that system
needs reverb on that new intro
According to Wikipedia, the Hyper Neo Geo 64 failed because it was obsolete upon release. By 1997, companies like Namco and Sega had released superior arcade hardware that was cheaper for arcades to purchase. It also didn't help that the Hyper Neo Geo 64 still used cartridges in an era where optical media was present and much cheaper to buy. Sure, they could hold to up to 1 GB of storage, but they were massively expensive for most people to purchase.
it's mostly sent to him by people... and this is his job
Wow.
Just review Earth already so I can decide whether to go back there.
Yo, Mark. Please consider sending me a heads-up before doing your reviews. I always want to buy everything you review and the eBay market sways sharply up after you feature a product. Thanks, Tim P.S. I am of course kidding about notifing me, but not about the market. Neo-drift out went through the roof after your review...
Forget the gayms that El amino is wet, props
Mark the intro needs REVERB I can't process this info without it.
