Probably. Engine uses standard npt style pressure and temp ports.

What brand is the V Twine engine?

are you running just 4awg wires off of the battery charger there?

We are currently only providing engines and drives as a tested package to Ultracruiser owners at this time.

Id like to put a Harley-davidson 1340 motor in one of these planes.

It's been a big waste of time except for the people who follow the flying and glider. manual instructions. The shaking will tear your plane apart otherwise

Matt, have you ever tested some of the parts in carbon fiber to see if there's much of a weight difference? I know Aluminum is heavier than carbon fiber (as a rule), but I'm curious to know if it'd be worth someone's time to do an Ultracruiser, only in carbon fiber instead of aluminum.

Is the ultracruiser part 103 or light sport or experimental

Ultracruiser can be built as a Part 103 for sure - but could be LSA as well if you choose.

Yes - Mechanical brakes are standard.

Pusher config is more efficient….but who wants to sacrifice low speed rudder and elevator authority?

Looks like a thin and weak construction that could not cope with strong winds.
