I loved seeing her so charged up and speaking with passion in this interview. Clarissa Ward is extraordinary in so many ways and has been my favorite correspondent for several years. How she remains upbeat when she sees the worst in humanity is beyond me. The compassion she shows towards the victims of war is, once again, extraordinary. I hope she wins every Emmy she has been nominated for.

Clarissa Ward is one bad ass journalist that is just outstanding! I mean I couldn't do what she does and yet she just does it over and over again. God bless her!

Clarissa Ward is one of the few real journalists left in the mainstream cable press. The balls on that woman are legendary

That truly was a win getting to see that kind of affirmation about a movement from someone so close to the issue. That's a win for us all.

I listen primarily to radio, and I have heard her report before. When Steven introduced her, I thought he said she'd been reporting for 50 years. Then she came on, and I quickly replayed it. 15 years is a MUCH closer match to the lady I was seeing. Her reporting has always been superb, but wow!
