Lana haters will always say lana didn't love clark just because she wants him to be honest! Jeez! Both made mistakes but they put Lana in a higher pedestal and excuses clark every single time and clark was the one keeping the secret all along! Lana was written that way and even if I disagree with the writers a ton, the love they had was true. These two loved each other. They were star crossed lovers at least on the smallville series world.

I still get teary eyed anytime I watch this scene. Clark and Lana 4ever!

Tom's delivery of "not unless you tell me that you'd rather spend the rest of your life with Lex Luthor instead of with me" is one of his best pieces of acting on the whole show. He infuses Clark with such an honest vulnerability in that moment with both his facial expression and line delivery. #Clana

In Season 5, episode 16, Clark had lied to Lana by saying "I don't love you" , because he thought that pulling away was the only way to protect her..Now it's Lana's turn to do the same, unwillingly, for his sake..they both don't deserve all this pain..

I dont understand why Clark had to wait till the last minute. Do the writers want him to look like a dumb or simply they wanted the classic wedding day cliché scenes? I like the ep but if Clark would have done the same thing one day before this wouldnt happen.
