    I’m not sad. I’m not sad because Claire wouldn’t want us to be. If we could see her ghost and have her talk to us, she would say “don’t be sad for me. It was my time and that’s okay”.

    Gives you people great comfort to think that doesn't it. I'm here to break the bad news to ya and fill you in on reality that there was nothing of you before you were born and there will be nothing of you after you die. But hey, fear can make you believe in anything to help make you feel better.

    We tell them they are not SUPPOSED TO BE HAPPY. I had stage 4 cancer, and i now live with RA, fibromyalgia and chronic pain...and like her, I LOVE MY LIFE. I am happy, i am a mom, a wife, a daughter that HAPPENS to have a chronic disease. Or 2. Or 3 lol. I have bad days, but when I do....i read and lie with my dogs and enjoy tv. Life is a beautiful thing, because i came so close to death. Rest in peace sweet girl, you are an inspiration. DO NOT PITY the sick, we do not want pity, we like compassion...but we just want to be us.

    Excellent video. I totally agree that we should empower people who are sick, not pity them. Why compound the issues, help them live their life to the full

  • @dgarnush
    @dgarnush5 жыл бұрын

    I see her point in saying that pitying sick people disempowers them. What she means is that expressing our pity for them does not help them, and it is absolutely true. Often sick people only look to be pitied because they want to add to that emotional feeling of being sorry for themselves. If we only express our sorrow it does not help them in a good way it only keeps them in their own misery. But pity is supposed to move us to bring some type of solution to the sufferer, instead of simply expressing our feelings. Pity is a trigger within us to do good for the suffer, to offer a supportive hand, do encourage them, to bring light to the situation, to help, to bring joy and peace, to love. We are not to express the connotation of sorrow but let us transform that within ourselves to love, bringing hope in its purest form.

    Rip Baby Girl Great Message Inspired A lot Life Is About The Impact You Make And You Made A Great One🙏🏽🙏🏽

  • @aprilbotten8060
    @aprilbotten80605 жыл бұрын

    It’s hard 2 believe that someone I never met could make such an impact on a life, Claire made a huge impact on my life. I cared about her as a friend as well, when she was crying bc she realized she needed a lung transplant, I started crying, when I heard of her death I cried. But I learned so much from her. I’m a person who suffers with severe mental illness, I have my whole life 4 literally as long as I can remember. I learned 4 her not 2 go thru life as a bucket list, that life isn’t a race, how 2 treat others, she gave me go deeper into thought. I now see more beauty in life, I see that a lot of times suffering is good, I see that I don’t necessarily need 2 travel all of these places I need 2 make an impact with my life, I learned 2 stop seeing life as a race and just do what I want with my life and 2 help others, and in fact listening 2 all of the wisdom she had has helped me cope with her loss. When I heard she was dead, I was so upset. I was excited and worried about her transplant, I couldn’t wait 2 hear more of her wisdom but I couldn’t so I look at her death as so many people r being introduced 2 her and r learning from her, and her organs were donated and r saving lives. Her wisdom also helped me cope with the loss of my previous dog who died at the age of 3 from severe epilepsy. I realize that just bc she had epilepsy, just bc she was so young doesn’t mean she didn’t have a good life. She had 2 struggle with epilepsy but that didn’t make everything else less joyous. Claire if u ever somehow manage 2 read this from heaven or whatever I want u 2 know how much of an impact u made on my life, and I want 2 thank u 4 what u have taught me is one of the greatest if not greatest wisdom 2 help me thru life

    R.I.P. Claire! You created such a large ripple of positivity and created such a huge impact on the lives of many and reminded us that life is precious and if we cant be placed in the darkness, we wont see the light inside of us. Just like Planktons. They have to be stepped on before they can glow. If were going through something like that, look at the good and the positive side. Thank you for teaching me to be thankful for every breath and to focus on what I have rather than what I don't because at the end of the day, it's what you did with what you have is what matters. Rest easy, Claire. May God bless you all.💕🙏❤

    I believe that when you passed, you left a big hole in the world. But I also believe that the immense energy that you exuded and that I connected with somehow came to me when you left us 3 weeks ago. And it aided in my recovery from depression. Your spirit, your incredible fierce battle against your physical demons has inspired me in my fight against my mental ones. What really got me thinking is the fact that the medical staff mentioned that it was the most peaceful passing away that they have ever witnessed. I mean how is it possible that a 21 year old lovely young girl who didn't live a normal life by any stretch of imagination passed away so peacefully? She has left behind a lesson for all of us to listen and learn. Being content with who you are and contributing (to yourself to your surroundings and to other people) in whatever way you can in a positive manner is the very basic thing I have learnt from her and something I will never forget. Tough times really bring out the real character in a person and I hope everyone going through a tough period takes a note of this video. Thank you Claire. You've left behind an aura and hope for other people to look up to.

    This video is so profound. It's a wonderful recipe for healing... maybe not our physical bodies, but our spirit, our emotions, our mind. A perfect reminder for child sexual abuse survivors. Claire, Thank you so much for sharing these previous thoughts and your amazing vitality and positive perspective. What a beautiful legacy you have left for us. RIP. ❤️❤️❤️
