@@ClaireHoloway I'll just keep going through your tutorials as they really are the best! Thanks again for all your tutorials, you've really taught me a lot.
You are 100% better at this than me, but I do have one suggestion. When the artist drew those flowers she intended them to be normal flowers, so she shaded those two smaller back petals. But you turned them into lanterns. We are seeing the inside of those two petals, which are close to the light source and aren't filtered by the density of the petal, so they should have been brightly lit. This tutorial taught me heaps and I actually just bought a compass so I can work on the technique. Thank you!

Knowing Johanna personally, I’m 100% sure she gives us colourists complete artistic licence to interpret our own pages to our individual taste. I wouldn’t dream of suggesting how you should colour your own work. But I’m really glad you loved the tuto :)

@@ClaireHoloway Quite right, I should have said nothing. Thanks for the help.
Honestly, I've not seen anyone do such a beautiful, calm, crystal-clear tutorial for something like this! You are amazing and so sweet to share. I am now thinking in really different ways about things like light circles and even using a compass to help. Thank you so much. P.S. What are these facebook groups you are mentioning?
