I got one of these from WOOT! (Amazon's overflow and warehouse store) with a gray dial and bezel. For $129. It came in the Promaster packaging that looks like a little diving air tank, which is very cool. Cool enough that it's sitting on a shelf in this room instead of back in the box it came in and stuffed in the attic or a closet. Love the watch, don't wear it a lot because I want to keep it in good shape and I have other beater watches for every day wear. These watches are ISO rated dive watches, btw. Dude's right, it's a chunk of a watch. I have an 8 inch wrist and the bracelet fit me perfectly without taking out any links. The lume is fantastic.

You can't go wrong with the eco drive Citizen divers. Pity about the clasp. You can't really expect a ceramic insert though for that price. I have an older model referred to as the Excalibur that comes with a diver extension on the clasp the quality and finish of this watch is fantastic for the miniscule price. The second hand hits the markers bang on which for a quartz watch is pretty rare even for a high end quartz watch... If you want a divers no messing around with expensive servicing and battery changes Citizen is the way to go.. You should get about 20 yrs out of it.... Good review...

I love this watch I have owned it for 2 years and still looks new. Of course I am not a diver. But holds up to daily use well. It’s well built and the time shows accurate I have adjust the time about 2 times in two years. About 1 minute slow in a whole year! That is fantastic

It’s really nice watch. If you want a Quartz/Solar type diver then it could be for you but... there are better watches in terms of specifications for the price, so just be aware Scott

@@WatchtheTime Hey thanks so much for the response. What you recommend as something that’s iso certified and say under $500 to actually take underwater? Stick with a Seiko Prospex maybe?

Are you going diving or is it a desk diver? There are loads of options Scott; Vostok, Seiko, Orient and multiple AliExpress watches that I would be comfortable doing some sort of diving and swimming with. If you want ISO certification then yes, Citizen Promaster’s are a great shout..

@@redbarchetta4 of course I’ll always respond mate, I am always happy to help where I can. In my opinion, if the crown and case back are screw down then you’ll be fine taking it in to water to some depths. Vostok amphibia’s are great, inexpensive watches and they become water resistant the more pressure that is applied, due to the design. Are you looking for a promaster look, submariner look or are you open minded?

I've got the chrono version! Good value for ISO rated divers!

They do offer outstanding value for money given the fact that they are iso certified and eco drive. I have another variant that I’ll be featuring in the near future so keep your eyes peeled 😊👀

Hi Jeff, am sorry to hear you are having problems sourcing a crown for your watch. I don’t have the watch anymore 😬 Will ask around and see if I can get the information for you but might be tough…

I have exactly this watch but the model number is BN0191-80L. I wonder why Citizen offers the very same watch under two different model numbers.

I’ve seen that to and thought exactly the same thing. I have flipped that watch now but may well get the other one in or at least another Promaster 😊

It is the same watch. The 55l is the American one and all other international sales were under the 80l.
