Cinema 4D Tutorial - Create chipped/worn edges to objects

    That's so good. I was wondering why you put the cube in a Boole, but then after playing with it I realized that if the cube was in the Volume Builder you could only get one texture. Thanks for this great video, please make more! 😄

    Exactly. And you would also get all the exessive geometry if you put also the cube into the volume builder.

    Dude, that is so cool man, I would normally do this in Zbrush, so this is a huge timesaver, I just wished the video was a slightly higher res, as on my screen it's blurred to some degree...

    cool method but the boolean struggle to calculate the edges of anything that isnt a cube

    is it weird if my RTX 3060 TI workstation becomes super slow while doing this volume builder + mesher method? I'm confused..

    Mine does too. I have a Puget system 128 GB of Ram with dual 3090's. 🤷‍♂ C4D 2024 completely froze when I did it. Tried it in R21 with a little more success, but was quite laggy.

    You're right. I've noticed this too, but haven't been able to come up with a good solution yet. I'll be sure to make a new tut if i can figure out what is causing it.

    sadly when i click the random filed the chipps go away
