In C4D S26.1, this broke down for me as soon as I put any animation speed in the random field of the Plain effector. The matrix's effect on the type completely disappeared. Once I tried it in S26.013, it worked fine.

Is it still working for you in S26.107? The effects keep disappearing as soon as I hit play.

@@caffeineman It was never working for me in 26.1. I only got it working in older versions of C4D. I still have S26.013 and R25.

I think this is a nasty bug that popped up in R26.107 with the Matrix object, I reported it to Maxon. You can also use other point objects as sub-fields or standard particles should work too, but obviously the results will vary depending on the setup..
