Chrono Trigger Figures | Collectables | Formation Arts 2010
Ойындар
After the debut of the Chrono Trigger Retrospective, I got a lot of comments about the Formation Arts figures I used for section lead-ins. I thought I’d make a video showing not only the figures but also every other Chrono Trigger collectable I own or am aware of. I hope you enjoy it!
If you enjoyed this video please help support the channel by SHARING on social media. It’s free for you, and helps me TREMENDOUSLY! I GREATLY appreciate your support and I hope you enjoy the show!

Questions about the figures aside, that Chrono Trigger retrospective video was an incredible piece of work. If there are any fans of the game reading this comment who haven't seen that video, go watch it. Complex's story on the game deserves all of the views and the nostalgia will fill your soul.

really insightful! thank you very much. I'm a digital sculptor from Brazil, and I'm looking into trying my hand on anime figures. I love Chrono Trigger and that inspires me A LOT!

I have the pendant scene back from a trip to Japan... I knew the figures were uncommon, but I had no idea my lone pendant scene was so sought after! Thanks for making my day :)
I absolutely loved this. 10 minutes devoted to 5 figures. So pure.

That was a great video, but the best part was Frog falling off in the last scene. Great work!
such a great game, no other game like it and the way you narrated the video made me feel nostalgic of the time when I played it
Finishing up at work then I'm going to watch this on the ole big screen!
You have some of the best videos on KZread. Seriously, they're almost on my level. I really enjoy them!

@@NESComplex haha sometimes those curveballs are just what’s needed! 🔥 I’ve been releasing some curveball videos on the Not For Resale Demo N64 games, unexpectedly, because I’ve come to a point where I need to sell them due to the whole Covid / lay off thing that many people are dealing with. Like I’m pounding out quick videos of them before I lose the opportunity to do them at all, and then finally going back to the haunted October theme 😂 nobody else has really made videos quite like that though, just like in your case.. great for the channel :)

Whoohoo; my comment about the figures from the Retrospective video makes an appearance in the opening of this video (my 2 seconds of fame!) :) I own the imported Formation Arts, bought before the prices sky-rocketed but am missing the Chrono/Marle scene. I didn't know that one existed, and now I wanna have it... :P Seriously, you've become one of my favorite KZreadrs! This video is again created with so much love. Your editing is soooo well done. I love all those little touches like the use of sound effects and zooms, the choice of music is perfect for each section and your narration is a joy to listen to. Hope you will continue to create more videos, though understandable it's hard to find the time these days, like you explained. Either way, thank you NESComplex!

Love the attention to detail with the figure design. I agree it is odd that for such a popular game, you never see any merch for it. Perhaps the lack of mainstream and oversaturated merchandising keeps the game even more special in people's minds. Great video man.

I have the heavy violence one I wanted it for the longest time I got mine for a steal at a convention. Im working on the gashapon keychains as well Chrono trigger is my favorite game of all time . no pun intended
How did I miss these >_
Out of all the snes games that I had I save only 1 complete in the box with all the maps and stuff it came with. Chrono trigger. Not sure why. Never knew it would ever get this popular. Had no problems getting rid of ff3 or super mario rpg. I haven't popped this cartridge in since the late 90s. I wonder if the battery is still good. My friend has his old cart too and said his battery is still good

@@NESComplex Definitely. TBH, I did once own a Shadow of the Colossus diorama statuette with Wander vs Pelagia... It got smushed during moving though, but that one was nice as well.
Awesome video! And, oh no! You're Frog at the end of it! Tragic! I don't know about you, but the box art for the game always bugged me. I bet it was an early drawing that ended up being used. I mean, Marle and Crono are using a duel tech, but she's dealing lightning magic from the looks of it. Definitely not a water/cure technique. And why is that particular enemy fighting them in the snow? If memory serves me, that enemy never existed in the game's ice age.
@noksookhao
2 ай бұрын
It's not a dual tech, it is the triple tech Arc Impulse, haha. When I played it back in 1995 it used to really bother me as well because I thought it looked like Marle using fire, but after replaying a decade or so later and realizing what tech it was, the art started to make sense, 😂. Not sure why it is all snowy, but I've heard it was a scene from the original (i.e. not the new dungeon with the same name added to the DS re-release) Singing Mountain dungeon that was cut, so it is possible that Heckran was originally a boss there instead of the cave in 1000AD. No idea if that is legit or a "my dad worked as Square" fact though. My guess is as you suggested, that the art was done before all of the details were finalized and the setting for the battle changed in the final game. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
