Christopher Robin fights to keep his toys and doesn’t just give them up unlike Andy from toy story? I’m SOLD (coming from a teenager who refuses to give up any of his old childhood toys)

I've only seen the 1st "Toy Story" but I believe that the toys don't talk or show personality while Andy is present but with Christopher Pooh and pals all walk talk and interact with him. I think Christopher was more isolated as a child so created friends which were his toys where Andy has possessions. To Christopher Pooh is very much a part of him that he needed while for Andy Woody was a toy that was dear to him but not part of him since he had other friends.

I just saw the movie and, my goodness it was wonderful! It was a breath of fresh air, because it wasn’t just a lazy remake it was a whole new story. Anyone who has grown up with anything Pooh, the books, the movies the shows, will almost undoubtedly cry with nostalgia from this movie. I couldn’t recommend it more! Go see it if you have nothing to to, because very often the best somethings come from nothing. 🐻🍯

I finally got round to watching this just today. Winnie the Pooh was everything to me growing up. My first nursery was painted by my aunt to be a full mural of Pooh and his friends. I had the PJ's, teddies, quilt covers, tea mugs and EVERYTHING Pooh Bear growing up. I watched all the films, read the books. Everything. And this movie was utterly perfect. Utter PERFECTION. Start to finish it's wrapped in the little details of these characters. Every line, action, design, movement, set and interaction took me back to childhood. The little moments where it called to the iconic Pooh moments left me sobbing. This movie was amazing. I didn't stop sobbing since I pressed play. I was still crying after the credits had long finished. I loved it. Absolutely ADORED it. Perfect. If you don't love it, you're a Woozle. ❤️

Even though this movie is rather small scale, the VERY tiny theater I saw it in was absolutely packed. My local theater always seems to put these kind of sleeper hit style Disney movies in their tiniest theater (this happened with Princess and the Frog and Doctor Strange) and are then surprised when about 70 people average try to cram into the theater designed for about 40

I think they were expecting a full on fantasy and this movie brought some realism into what goes on in adult hood and trying to find the brighter side of life than just work.

I had to re watch your review since I just saw this movie. This movie is really a decent adult movie. I liked the mellow slow pacing. Pooh walking on the rug and hard wood floor is so funny, imagine cleaning that up??? ha ha ha That's just the child in me and it is funny. =) YOU are definately a floater - not to say, "we all float down here ha ha ha =)

In my opinion, that's just the magic of this movie! The plushies are a sign of simplicity that can be emotionaly strong, so for something so small, why not do the same for the whole movie? It is a small graphical movie, but one that makes you think and have a great time! Just like plushies... Great review!
