We had a track in hull in the 80s my dad worked as a marshaller but sadly died out on track from a heart attack doing the job he loved with his mates i was only 7 but enjoyed every track meet helping out.. Fond memories

6.00 hearing that blue dispatch breath it's final breath! Used to be a trackside first aider for St John at Arena Essex, god I miss that place it was such a great duty.

It is beyond belief how much damage these vans can take and still drive. Incredible. Gives me renewed respect for Transits.

We had a Bedford campervan in the '80. I don't care about the other vans being crashed but it hurts a little to see the Bedford being demolished.

Incredible how much abuse these machines can take, but then again they are vans, and designed to be driven hard for many miles.

It's standard stuff sometimes it's tactical and other times to cause/recieve as much damages as possible. No different from those who stop at right angles to the track and either move back and forward to block or to allow others through -- or just to get huge hits

That Bedford CF could've been sold for parts and still made more of a profit than whatever they made here doing the race. Sacrilegious taking an actual rare British classic that was in decent condition to a banger track to get ruined. The transits and ambulance and such are fine, run of the mill generic vans. But the Bedford; that's heartbreak.
