Christmas Tree Decorations Turned on the Lathe

This video will show you how to make miniature Christmas trees on the wood lathe. These trees are made out of various exotic hardwoods: Osage Orange, Chechen, Olive, Purple Heart. The video takes you step by step on how to make them:
- wood selection
- how to prepare and mount the blank
- how to turn various shapes and profiles on the lathe
- how to finish the Christmas tree on the lathe
- how to part the Christmas tree off the lathe
- what turning tools are needed
These will make great Christmas ornaments that you can display on a table or hang from your Christmas tree. They also make great gifts.

They are super easy to turn and make great gifts.
Very cool project. I've been using hot glue to attach my pieces to my waste block. Half the time I've gotta take a heat gun to get it back off lol.

Have not tried hot glue. I did try double sided tape for making rings, but that didn't seem to work too well. I'll have to give the hot glue a try. Thanks for the comment!
