Holy Mass in Sinhala was held at St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church in Torrance, California, on December 21, to celebrate the Christmas of 2019.
The Mass was celebrated by Rev. Fr. Damian Fernando who hails from Katuneriya, Sri Lanka. A prominent item at the mass here, was the colorful procession with Sri Lankan and American flags that accompanied the priest to the alter.
The Mass was well attended by Sri Lankan in Southern California and, after the Mass, there was a feast of delicious Sri Lankan food for the attendees.
