When this song was on the radio, my sister said this song reminded her of the guy she was talking to but didn't want to be serious with. He really liked her but she's 5 years older and didn't think it would work. The song ended and she kind of quietly said "Shit. I think I love him." They're getting married a little over a month from now. I never thought this song was about heartbreak, more about not wanting to admit to yourself that you love someone and not being able to stop it. :)

You know, I can not tell if its righ or not what u feel for him at this age, but when I was 11 I had my crush - even if it wasn't a big deal - and I never worried about him or my feelings. 1st time hearing this song in 2024 n love it its about time Christina Perri did a new album ❤

I had a crush on him for two solid years. He lead me on for so long. He was lost. He dated this other girl off and on and she did not treat him the best at all. She wasn't committed. But i was. And i was always there for him. And whenever she wasn't there i was, and i unintentionally became a second choice for him. He flirted with me but was with her. And after two years, i admitted that i liked him, and then he disappeared. He didn't talk to me for so long. And then him and his girlfriend broke up. And right after they broke up i moved out of state. Yeah, it was terrible. Worst part was that when they finally ended it, he then talked to me and apologized for leading me on and having me struggle for so long. He admitted to me that before her and him even started dating he had feelings for me first, and he felt terrible because he realized that he flirted with me first and then started dating her and understood how it crushed me. He completely understood the position he put me in and he told me he realized how amazing i was and how he was blind. We never dated... but god sometimes i wish i never moved. I'll always have feelings for that guy, but i've accepted it and moved on. Anyways, this was the song that got me through that. And this song is what reminds me of all those times. It defines it. Beautiful yet heart wrenching.

i went through something similar i had a guy i crushed on his name was hunter shell he flirted with me lead me on acted like he liked me while he talked to other girls saying comments like ray ray is my new girlfriend and things like that then when i finally admitted to him i liked him he says i am sorry ray but i don't like you that way while and continued to flirt with me i was so confused still to this day i feel lost about that because he grab my hand and stuff i just felt like it was just a game so yeah i never got an honest answer now we hardly even talk at all now i am sure i don't like him last i knew he was with a girl who broke up with him after she said she liked another guy he picks these girls who treat him like shit while i could be good for him if he really tried

Never felt this song as strongly as I do rn, it's like I've written it myself! this is where I am now, I have to keep my distance and my feelings to myself because "I keep waiting for her to take me" and "she keeps waiting to save what we have", what a sad relationship it's been but sometimes you just gotta step back and let them go.

First of all, I have fallen for this woman. Second, this song is simply... splendid. Jason Mraz is an artist who is able to create dissonance that is NOT only outstanding, but just shows how much he cares about this music. Christina Perri is truly a magnificent as well as deep and charming. I'm utterly blown away by her presence and talent.

Every time I listen to this song, I always envision myself in a warm and cozy, sun-lit cabin goofing around with the person I love.

This explains so much with what's going on with me and someone I have a rough history with. I can't stop thinking about him.. he's always on my mind and I have to keep my love secret. No one, not even my friends, can know.. because they would try to convince me otherwise.

I love this inspirational song it's about breaking the walls down in a fairytale world and stepping outside realizing that your man was right there close to you listening to you because you only realize fairytale dream people exist outside the world too. To me that's what this is about and the message it conveys to me.

Sums up a crush that I liked last year...that love felt like a warm dream...now I feel like I'm living an empty cold dream everyday...

She looks especially gorgeous in this video, with the vines, the winding plants, the green scenery and her simple white dress its like "WOW" Haha she's really beautitful as her voice is :)

Me too like after almost 8 years!!!

This song really helps me right now through what I'm going through. Makes me feel not so alone. I should keep my distance. Falling for my bestfriend was the worse mistake ever.

This is really good! Although I love listening to metal most of the time its refreshing to listen to soft and beautiful music like this:)

I think I know why we Metalheads occasionally listen to these kind of tracks. I think it is to remind ourselves of the fact that we are still human and not the cold heartless stereotypes society condemns us to be. A simple gesture which shows that we do find beauty in all things genuine. Honestly, I misclicked this from a Rise Against tune but was glad to see this comment. Even though I find this song way too mushy and gooey, I am kinda glad that these songs are still coming out with some genuine talent especially when such crap is coming out nowadays.
