I think the piano accompanist deserves credit too... he's super sensitive, extremely musical, and really seems to enjoy the fact that he's playing with a prodigy violinist.

This is the best version I have heard so far!!! Amazing it was played by such a young player!

i can actually see how these fishermen going out to the sea and their nets fill with fishes then returning home happy at sunset. Beautiful interpretation.

Totally can picture the simple life in the fishing village, and later the joyous moment of a good harvest! Beautiful and sophisticated interpretation.

Brilliant musician. And I agree that he is also a great conductor.

I love the emotion and passion that just pours out when Christian plays.

i wonder how much this kid has been pratice over the years to reach such a sublime musicality at such tender age. just beautiful! well done

I slept with that music yesterday(accidentally xD). It gave me the best sleep these days. I woke up early with full energy and felt the beauty and greatness in the early morning.

Christian is literally melting into one with the violin! Soul, body and emotions.

Wow this was done in one take! Also in the recording of La ronde des lutins, he needed only two takes according to the article about him. It's really surprising but considering that he yields amazing quality performance everytime in the concerts, that's also no surprising.

most of 2Set viewers watch their videos just for fun. This group is much much larger than the group of people who would sit down, calm down and listen to a classic piece peacefully.

Yes, you have heard the same music from different cultures in his performance. This piece of music was produced in 1973. The Chinese composer's name is zili lee. The folk song of Guangdong Province is used as the material to describe the fishermen's return from fishing in the sea. Joy scene

Certainly brought out the emotions in this piece.

I don’t what to say. It’s just not like a little “talented kid”’s play. It sounds like played by a well established maestro. I listened with my eyes closed it it gives me goosebumps!

So beautiful, relaxing! I could listen to it over and over again! And the way you play it.... I am speechless!

I really admire this wonderful player. Musicality, and technique is just amazing, specially at such a young age. I hope I can play like that one day.

Just simply beautiful!

I love that the 2 vids have been linked so we get to see this as one piece. Christian is just one with the instrument. I have only seen one other young player with the same skill as him. The difference is that Christian shows more emotion in his playing. I love the different stances to different sections and phrases of music, you have a clue to the way he will play just by looking at him. He is fierce and attacks the piece in the right places. In the softer parts he is in total control of the instrument. He will become better known as he gets older but for now I personally think he is one of the greats. He could easily stand with the likes of Bernadette, Pearlman, Vengerof, Chang, and Bell.
