The old testament talked about the chosen people. So God in the old testament was a jealous and petulant God who urged Jews to destroy any disbelievers. Of course God was a totally imaginary being created by uniformed humans based on human foibles. The God of the new testament was a Loving God who supposedly allowed his son to be crucified for the sake of humans whose ancestors had committed sin by eating from the tree of knowledge. This God and his son were created by a breakaway Jewish sect to show to Rome that Christians were more concerned with the afterlife than being a threat to Rome The God of the Quran was the figment of the imagination of a man with epilepsy. The Muslims incorporated the Jealous God of the Old Testament and the loving God of the New Testament to create a God that hated pagan disbelievers and tolerated disbelievers of the book (Jews and Christians). The Quran chapter 8 " Spoils of War" explains why Muslims invaded other countries and killed, enslaved, raped, and castrated tens of millions of people. It is highly doubtful that a creator of the Universe would be a personal God who shows interest in people on one planet in a universe with 200 billion galaxies, each with 200 billion stars.

I think he was being sincere in trying to discuss his scripture with you the problem is he is blinded to the mistakes and corruption in his scripture. So he was being sincere but unfortunately when your heart is blinded you can't see that that sincerity is not true. He is not cutting explanations he asks questions and explains his opinion with manners... This manners is nothing to do with Christian or Muslim, a lot muslim don't have good manners and respect. When the Christian Scholars themselves are telling us the Bible is heavily corrupt we fully agree!

It's hard to watch a man struggling to stick to his belief desperately, ignoring the truth.. this is sad.. it is really hard for people to let go the belief of their forefathers. And this causes such disturbing failure.

Poor kid, he became emotional because his perception of reality was being challenged. Some ppl don't want the veil removed. They enjoy their delusions. They hope that the veil will last forever and keep them from snapping out of their fantasy. But alas, death is not so kind. It's strips us all of the veils we hold to protect our perceived realities. In the end there can be only truth. Some will be fortunate to discover it in their lifetime while others will only see it after death. May Allah guide us all to truth before death overtakes us.

This begs the question: How would you define a perfectly preserved? Let say you author a book. What if centuries later the book is now not even in the language that you wrote it, the book now has multiple versions, different amount of contents, and people argue that their own version is the correct one. Would you call that the book has been perfectly preserved or the book has been changed? I think the answer is apparent, unless there's emotional factor comes into play.

@HadiB123 i don’t think I disagree with your main point but I just wanted to clarify that Armenians don’t speak Aramaic. Aramaic is a Semitic language, Armenian is an entirely separate language on the Indo-European “tree” which is different from languages of Semitic origins.

The fact that you have to explain how these different books came about already speaks volumes i think.

"False dichotomy" is not a magical answer to every question.

Curj was not being honest with himself. The strategy he used of saying "I disagree" didn't work for him this time because he was bombarded with one piece of simple logic after another. Even when Ali asked him to read the footnotes, he still couldn't bring himself to accede that indeed there was corruption. In the end, he proved his insincerity and the scholar had to let him go. I do believe that this may the start of his journey to the truth though.

No one ever can say that Brother Muhammad Ali has mistreated anyone or treated anyone unfairly. Rather a statement like that is only used when you have no other options left but to attack the integrity of this brother. It is not the eyes that are blind but the hearts. Alhamdulillah for Islam and May Allah grant you more strength and power in your words and increase even further the humility in your voice and heart. Aameen

For my Christians truth seekers I suggest a faster investigation of the Christian Bible: 1. Assume the Bible is the word of Allah. 2. Take any Bible. 3. Read it. 4. Find at least 1 contradiction. (It’s easy; there are so many). 5. Conclusion: It can’t be the preserved words of God. Now, go and search for the truth with an open mind. Good luck!

You can see that he's almost embarassed of his faith because what he believes has no ground to stand on. Honestly I feel sorry for him, I'm sure he really likes the teachings of christianity and built his identity around it. You have to be kind and careful with these people. He's being very polite, he's not interrupting at all, he's almost desperately trying to defend something which is clearly wrong. People like him need guidance. Inshallah he will accept it one day and find the truth.

That's sooo true! I was a Christian until about half a year ago and I left because of the exact problem you brought up. I owned 5 different versions of the Bible in German and three in English as well as an interlinear one in Hebrew and one in Greek. All of them had at least three words that were translated differently in the different translations in one page depending on the book of the Bible I was reading. And due to the difference in meaning those words could have and the impact this had on the context, I started getting confused on what is right and what is wrong. And after about a month of starting to question the Bible I found out that several verses for example some that oppose the message of the LGBTQ...(don't know the most recent version of it since it literally changes like almost every week)-community are being removed from the more modern/newer versions of the Bible what left me in shock since it said in the Bible that everyone adding or removing something from the Bible will be punished. And that also raised the question for me if I can still believe what is written in the Bible because I don't know if something like this happed before. For me finding out about this made it impossible for me to continue to believe in the Bible and it's teachings being from God...Right now I don't really have a religion but I started looking into Islam about two months ago and the more I find out and read the Quran the more I start thinking Islam might be the 'true' religion... But I decided I won't commit to Islam yet because I don't want to end up in the situation I am right now once again because I didn't have all the information before joining a religion.

So, hopefully he starts thinking about all this on his own and come to a clear conclusion that there is no original bible.

And history. Absolutely deluded. Acts 2 22 says that Jesus was a messenger who was given power to do his work by God. Which is what Islam ☪️ teaches. Speaking about the error about the different ages in certain parts of bibles about the same people, how can they believe in a book that has errors, it’s as if the word of God was written in the middle of the dark night next candle light so no one else can see what they are doing?

The difference in Islam is, God given us the key (to think sincerely with our minds), and told us to go find the box (the right religion), there will only be one box that the key can fit in.

The old testament talked about the chosen people. So God in the old testament was a jealous and petulant God who urged Jews to destroy any disbelievers. Of course God was a totally imaginary being created by uniformed humans based on human foibles. The God of the new testament was a Loving God who supposedly allowed his son to be crucified for the sake of humans whose ancestors had committed sin by eating from the tree of knowledge. This God and his son were created by a breakaway Jewish sect to show to Rome that Christians were more concerned with the afterlife than being a threat to Rome The God of the Quran was the figment of the imagination of a man with epilepsy. The Muslims incorporated the Jealous God of the Old Testament and the loving God of the New Testament to create a God that hated pagan disbelievers and tolerated disbelievers of the book (Jews and Christians). The Quran chapter 8 " Spoils of War" explains why Muslims invaded other countries and killed, enslaved, raped, and castrated tens of millions of people. It is highly doubtful that a creator of the Universe would be a personal God who shows interest in people on one planet in a universe with 200 billion galaxies, each with 200 billion stars.

May Allah SWT guide him. It is sad to see someone follow a religion that causes you to jump through hoops to make it seem correct. Islam is the truth.

The fact this young fella can sit and look straight faced into the camera and even attempt to make these preservation claims is outstanding. I wonder however, is he dishonest, insincere or simply just doesn't know because he is sure of biblical preservation and I'm sitting here completely bewildered as to how one can hold such a position and try to make it coherent, this is fascinating!
