If your god is named yashua/jesus and he never corrected them when calling him that but your god is saying that you guys should call him “I AM” forever doesn’t it meant that your worshiping two different people. I just did what Cliffe advised, as can anybody else with internet access, and looked up 3rd Caliph Uthman burning the different versions of the Quran. Turns out that Cliffe was not misinforming people and he was absolutely right.

but did you search why he burned them ? Caliph Uthman (RA) didn’t burn the Quran. However, he simply burnt some copies of non-officially personal writing of The Quran to ensure the validation of only authentic, accurate, and supervised copies of the Quran are available and circulated among Muslim individuals and societies. he did that by forming a council of most learned men who had memorized the quran completely at that time and ordered for one quran to be written and distribute the copies among the muslims thats y he burned the previous copies

​@@going2021 What Uthman (RA) did do was that he set up a committee to compile the Quran in the order that it was intended and in the correct Ahruf. The Quran was originally revealed in seven different Ahruf (meaning modes of recitation) and one of them was later made the correct one. The Prophet (SAW) (with the help of Jibril (AS) who was repeating the copy in heaven) had every Ramadan recited the whole Quran in its correct order in front of the people, this order being the one Uthman (RA) wanted to preserve. But, the many scribes that wrote down the verses of the Quran in the Prophet (SAW)’s time did so in chronological order and in their own tribe's Hurf. Furthermore, many of the scribes used their copies of the Quran as personal notebooks for recording all matters of religion. So, they would record the hadith of the Prophet (SAW) explaining one of the verses in the margins or a clarification of a certain ruling etc. They were within their rights to do so, but as Uthman (RA) realized, the individual writers may know what part is the hadith and what part is the Quran in their books, but any other person would confuse the two. It was also realized and experienced that the people were mistaking the old Ahruf as the real Quran. Also most written copies weren’t even full copies of the Quran. This could have led to many problems or confusions later on regarding the Quran. And this is also why many of the scribes were unwilling to give up their copy to Uthman (RA). It was not because they distrusted Uthman (RA)’s copy as some people try to claim, but it was because those notebooks were their life’s work recording all their relevant tafsir and hadith and religious matters. So, Uthman (RA) insisted that all the other copies be burned instead of going through the lengthy and laborious process of revising the copies to be in the correct order and correct Hurf and crossing out all the footnotes and such to avoid later confusion. But the key thing to note is that there was no ‘hidden’ verse in any of those copies that was not in Uthman (RA)’s copy. In conclusion, the copy compiled by Uthman (RA) is exactly how the copy in heaven is. Uthman (RA) changed nothing. Now that was only about defending the integrity of the copy compiled in Uthman (RA)’s caliphate. It doesn’t even get into the fact that copies of the Quran today are NOT sourced from that one. Yes, you heard me right. The copy of Uthman (RA) was made in a way that all the different methods of recitation (which are not the same as modes) of the Quran could be recited from the same book. This is because Arabic did not have vowels in its script. Now, though, the copies of the Quran do have vowels in their script which means they have to choose a dialect. And who recorded the dialects? Not the Uthmanic copy, since it doesn’t record vowels. The dialects were recorded by the thousands of Huffaz (memorizer of quran) from teacher to student and from son to father in the hundreds of mosques, throughout the centuries. If you ask any Hafiz (memorizer of the Quran) about where he sources his recitation, he will not trace it back to Uthman (RA)’s compilation. He will trace it back (name by name) to a companion who learned it from the Prophet (SAW) himself. That is the Quran.

After Sunday, Jesus appears to the disciples in the chamber: But they were terrified and affrighted and supposed that they had seen a spirit.” Luke 24:37 The reason the disciples of Jesus were afraid was that they had learned by hearsay that their Master was killed by being fastened to the cross - that he was crucified. 1 They had learned by hearsay that he had “given up the ghost”: that he had died. They had learned by Hearsay that now he was -”DEAD AND BURIED” for three days. A man with such a reputation, would be expected to be decomposing in his tomb. FOR ALL THEIR KNOWLEDGE WAS FROM HEARSAY! - What they had heard! Because none of them was there to witness what was really going on with Jesus at Golgotha. In the most critical juncture in the life of Jesus: “. . . THEY ALL FORSOOK HIM AND FLED.” Mark 14:50 “…Then all the disciples forsook him and fled.” Mathew 26:65 After the due greetings of “Shaloam”, Jesus begins calming the disciples’ fear for taking him to be a ghost. There is no evidence to support this claim. Jesus himself claimed he would die and rise again.(Mark 9:31) You refuse to acknowledge anything other than what helps your side win. John 14:6 Jesus clearly states “I am the way the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through me” You are making a lot of assumptions based on what the Quran has told you and then using the Bible to build a case that it doesn’t make.

@@zay8196 Yea I think the biggest issue is the fact that Christians view Christ through Christ. Muslims view Christ through Islam. There will never be an agreement between the two because Islam has a 600 year old account of Christ rather than Gospel primary sources. All we can do is share the Gospel that you can't work your way to heaven. We all will be tried for crimes of sin, doesn't matter how much prayer and good we do, Jesus died for us.

Jesus dying for all of us was not our choice BUT God's choice and it was out of his great love. We do not deminish God with our sin because it was his choice to give gis son freely. As the guy is asking why cant we pay for our sins instead of Jesus dying then salvation would have to be self redeeming and it is impossible to redeem ourselves

You would have to be dumb to believe the Romans executed 360,000 Christians by throwing them to the lions. The fact that it came 500 years after Christ and was supposedly presented by an angel (which clearly goes out of its way to deny Jesus of who he claimed to be, as well as those who worship him). I mean, how many do I need to comment about? I tend to learn about things before I speak on them my friend.

Thing is, no religion matters. All that truly matters is the relationship we have with God and if you’re a Christian Jesus Christ. And I believe that loving and trusting the LORD God and Jesus Christ, repenting of our sins and more. Not to live a life of this world, but a follower of God and Christ alone. For having a simple title of religion or being apart of a religion will NOT get you into heaven. The relationship and work we try to put into God alone. Religion is great and amazing, but it does not matter.

Look at what you did with the verses from Matthew, Mark and Luke, you don't even have the entire text there lol. No muslim I've ever encountered has even taken the time to read the Bible in it's entirety. It's all just cherry picking at your convenience and don't even care to truly understand it. It's a debate that never gets anywhere (at least with a close minded muslim) because you all can't be humble enough to accept you're wrong no matter how many answers you get. That's why there will always be discourse and disagreements, it is what it is unfortunately. But Christ is the only faith where we're promised salvation. That person is Jesus Christ. If the trinity was made up why would anyone make up such a complicated concept unless it's the human description of the true and living God. The complexity of the trinity is the very proof of its authenticity and validity for describing the infinite in a finite human language. Islam is a cult led by a pedaphile and a murderer who fought more wars than Hitler did. Ex-Muslim here. I was raised a Muslim and went to mosque for lessons 4 hours a day Monday to Friday from the age 5 to the age of 12. Learned Arabic but only how to read, they never taught us the meaning of words. Read the Qur’an to the end and at 29 years of age today, I don’t have a clue at what I read all those years . Could only read because I was taught to put sounds together or letters together but not the meaning. Cliffe is 100% correct. You cannot learn Islam unless you know how to speak Arabic or understand it. I pray that those two men and anyone else that is serving a false god, has an tangible encounter with Jesus. When you acknowledge Christ as being your Lord and Savior, when you accept His sacrifice, believe He rose from the dead and gives eternal life to whomever believes in Him, ONLY THEN you become a Christian and you receive the Holy Spirit. Some people think believing in God is enough to be called a Christian when in reality, FOLLOWING Christ is what makes you a Christ-ian. If you believe at your core that Jesus is Lord and decide to trust Him entirely, how can you switch religion like you would a pair of socks? If you weren't geniuine about believing in Christ in the first place, you weren't really a Christian. That's all.

If you had been born in Thailand you'd probably be a Buddhist, if you had been born in Saudi Arabia you'd probably be a Muslim, if you had been born in a tribe in the Amazon you'd be worshipping spirits in trees and ancestor spirits. You're only a Christian because you were exposed to it and made a choice. The fact is, in western countries, people are leaving Christianity, and other religions, in droves. Where I live a recent census showed only 37% of the population identify as Christians, many I am sure in name only. All other religions account for just 7% of the population. Everyone else declared they had no religion or religious beliefs. That's a growing trend in all of Europe, Australia and New Zealand, Canada, and the USA.

I thought the bible says Jesus is a prophet❓ ‭Matthew 21:10-11 NIV‬ [10] When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred and asked, “Who is this?” [11] The crowds answered, “This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth in Galilee.”

Lord Jesus please give me strength. Help me forgive the ppl that say my struggles aren’t real only you know my burdens. These ppl are from the devil trying to make me lose faith and Lord it’s working. Lord Jesus I seem to bear the weight of the world on my shoulders as a single mom, I often face challenges that can seem insurmountable especially with raising two children with special needs. I’m trying to balance everything but Lord I’m struggling to make ends meet, to pay bills, and to put food on the table for my children. Jesus hear my prayers and please continue to give me strength.

As a Christian l believe that the same holy spirit that made the disciples preach in a foreign country using their language without themselves knowing the language will work here too.

@@YouEatBabies1911 murder is unlawful killing. if the death sentence is the law then it isn't murder you fool. also its not simply for leaving islam. it's only for presenting yourself as an enemy of islam (which is what the state is run by if this law was held up making it treason if you become an enemy to it). that's all which is punishable. if you're not a muslim in muslim land its fine but you pay a tax called jizyah. before you cry muslims also pay a charitable tax called zakat and non Muslims arent Muslims so they can't pay zakat they pay jizyah which is still way less than what Western countries tax workers in this day and age.

I did look into the 3rd caliph. As you said. It seems that it’s much like how the Bible was deemed true. As many memorizers of the original Quran got together to compare their memorizations. To make it as valid as possible. Which is a good process. The Bible was created with a good process of comparing manuscripts to come to the truest meaning and validity that we have today.
