Join us in person for a Sunday service at 9:30amET at Grace Community Church located at Grace Farms (365 Lukes Wood Road New Canaan CT, 06840).
The "Give Me An Answer" ministry began as an outgrowth of the dialogues Cliffe Knechtle has had with students on various university campuses throughout the United States. These universities include the University of Maine, Harvard, MIT, University of Florida, University of Texas, University of Wisconsin, University of Minnesota, University of California Los Angeles, University of California San Diego, Berkeley, Stanford, University of Hawaii and the University of Washington. Cliffe spoke on these campuses in front of the Student Union or Library at noon for five to ten minutes. At the close of his initial remarks, he'd open up the time for questions and answers, which usually turned into a two to four hour dialogue with students. His crowd size ranged from 25 - 500 students at a time, and between classes, new students would join the discussion. This is an extremely effective way to reach a large number of university students with the Gospel of Christ.

FACTS. I've been watching Cliffe Knechtle's videos since late 2020 which inspired me to do Christian Apologetics these past 4 years. I was raised Christian but I became an agnostic and atheist at 17-19 years old until I started studying religious beliefs, Christianity and Apologetics Happy Easter brothers, sisters and everyone else He's Alive forevermore AMEN 🙏 ❤️ 👏. This has nothing and everything to do with the video but please listen if you want to otherwise leave it alone and ignore it. Hello my name is Justin and I'm a fellow Christian and Apologist but I'm also a college graduate. I'm not a closed minded Theist as I have nothing against Atheists or unbelievers as I speak to them often to understand their reasons for unbelief but we as Christians are convinced of God's Existence due to many real factors). I'm not trying to convert anyone or convince anyone to become Christians as that's The Holy Spirit's job to help people believe but only explain why I believe in Jesus Christ. There's actually evidence of God's Existence in Christianity. First of all there's proof that Jesus of Nazareth existed in history since the writings of Tacitus, Josephus Flavius, Pliny the younger and other historical documents prove that He was living two thousand years ago that even scholars both religious and Atheists agree with historically speaking but not that He's The Divine Son of God because obviously they don't. I'm going to give you historical and archeological evidence for God's Existence as The Scriptures have prophecies that predate the events recorded in them by several millennia including Matthew, Hosea and Zechariah which prophesy accurately of the people of Israel becoming a nation again after over 1900 years of being scattered around the nations since the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 A.D. spoken of by Christ in Matthew 23:29-24:3 and returning to their homeland after The Holocaust with Jerusalem as their capital in 1948 exactly as Jesus The Christ said. The prophets including Daniel spoke of the time where several world empires would arise and fall including the Babylonian kingdom, Medes and Persians, Roman Empire, and Saladin and the Muslims which went in consecutive order for the past few millennia. The people of Israel becoming a nation after The Holocaust in 1948 (ironically the melting point of gold as God compares Israel to gold that's tested in fire in Zechariah 13:8 and Jeremiah 16:15) exactly how Jesus The Christ said would happen since God us everything to come in The Scriptures and not just because people were working towards as Atheists claim which are impossible for any regular man to predict. Just before anyone says Christianity is a white man's religion made to oppress blacks during slavery you obviously aren't aware that the first Christians were Jews in The Middle East and that Christianity just like any religion can be used by evil and corrupt people to oppress others but you forget that the first Abolitionists/Civil Rights activists were Christians who sought to abolish slavery, racism, segregation, injustice and prejudice throughout American history. Jesus The Christ loves you enough not to give you what we all deserve which is God's Wrath by His Own Blood. Charles Darwin didn't originally come up with The Theory of Evolution over 200 years ago as it is mentioned in the writings of Ancient Greeks who believed in Demons that gave knowledge to philosophers. How did the organs evolve before there were bones, skin, substance and how did any creatures see before eyes evolved? I've studied evolution and abiogenesis in the past and read Darwin's " Origin of The Species" and I'm not convinced of macro Evolutionary biology whereas I accept micro Evolution like speciation and adaptation but not macro Evolution because there's no evidence of it nor clear observable examples of it where living creatures evolve into other kinds of species plus the fact that fossils don't show evidence of evolution and genetic entropy rules out evolution. The question begs how did two genders evolve from a common ancestor with a perfectly hospitable and sustainable environment with breathable oxygen and resources to survive on inexplicably? Atheists have the burden of proof to explain how everything came to be and why our existence is possible without the Existence of God from an godless perspective just as Christians have to provide evidence of God's Existence and the validity of His Word. Evolution requires life to already exist in order to take any effect in living organisms so it doesn't account for the existence of Life and reality. Also evolution is impossible because it goes against The Law of entropy and the second Law of thermodynamics because evolution makes things better whereas nothing continues to get better but decays and turns to absolute destruction in the end. My 13yo son is taking a apologetics class in school and they are studying apologetics in youth group. But he's learned more about how to "contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to the believers" by listening to Cliffe. The atheists arguments are all pretty much the same after awhile. And the truth is straight like an arrow slicing right through them. Cliffe's humility and gentleness (despite his continually saying he falls short) are so winsome. No wonder the kids listening defend him against hecklers and threats.

You're absolutely right! What I find most helpful in what Cliffe does is how concrete the examples he gives are and how well they fit and illustrate his arguments. And he also talks in a way that makes him approachable: his vocabulary is simple and consistent, he uses humor to lighten the tension when needed, he looks at people with love and respect. I mean, he does a really good job showing what a Christian driven by the love of Jesus is.

I hope Jesus comes back within the next few weeks, I’m at my wits end. I hate this life, I have no joy and everything is meaningless. I can’t even see God, feel Him, or talk to Him. If He’s all we need, aren’t we all better off dead because we can’t even see Him in this life. My life is full of abandonment, rejection, and loneliness. I don’t see God’s love or comfort or blessings in my life yet I’ve still been faithful to Him and follow Him.

It’s something we all question ourselves in our lifetime is “What is life worth living for?” Read the book of Job and you’ll see how he loses EVERYTHING, yet with his patience the reward (gains everything back 2x more) is granted because of his faith. I’m tired of living this life as a human too, but let’s do it for Christ because if he suffers we must suffer to. Therefore because he’s resurrected and living with honor as has always been God we should also experience eternal life(Joy and hope and peace). WE WILL. that’s a promise from the scriptures. I love you and YAHWEH does too! Read Isaiah 53 and the gospels of all that he has done for you. I pray for your emotional state but God is greater than our feelings. What you are feeling is not from the Holy Ghost but from the enemy don’t let him break down call for GOD because he will hear anyone that desires help and rescue. Cry out to him and trust he will answer (Not in the way you think). Shalom

Not exactly sure what you mean. Evolution makes no sense when nothing has evolved after thousands of years of human history and supposedly the first creature came from primordial sludge several millions of years ago funny how they won't believe that God an Eternal Almighty Spirit Being created us from the Earth) which came from a supermassive expansion of matter at high temperature that inexplicably created everything in the known universe that supposedly came from nothing billions of years ago. Mark Ridley an Evolutionist said "No evolutionist whether gradualist or punctuationist uses the fossil record as evidence in favor of The Theory of Darwinian Evolution as opposed to special Creation". God's Existence is made perfectly known and observable in the universe as demonstrated in His Handiwork in the intelligently designed manner that Creation was made, human consciences and consciousness historical and archaeological evidence of God's Word being valid history, fulfillment of Bible Prophecies God in His Holiness and Righteousness could give us what we deserve in Hell for our since but He's merciful to give us free will to choose to accept or reject His gift of salvation by grace through faith in His Son Jesus. I am trying here to prevent anyone saying the really foolish thing that people often say about Him: “I’m ready to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher, but I don’t accept his claim to be God.” That is the one thing we must not say. A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic-on the level with the man who says he is a poached egg-or else he would be the Devil of Hell. You must make your choice. Either this man was, and is, the Son of God, or else a madman or something worse. You can shut him up for a fool, you can spit at him and kill him as a demon or you can fall at his feet and call him Lord and God. But let us not come with any patronizing nonsense about his being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us. He did not intend to. C.S. Lewis, Mere Christianity

Traditional Judaism, sadly, is still very much a works-based religion. Obey the Law.... obey the Torah... keep the old covenant and you will be blessed. You're right, it is suffocating. People should realize that there is not way to obey the law and by that to be saved. What he lacked training in is why it's impossible to obey the law, and why he needs a Savior, and who that Savior is and what he did for us all. That may be why he left Judaism and found all world religions to be essentially the same, because all world religions except Christianity are works-based. So in a way, he was correct to say that they all had basically the same message.... Christianity being the one exception. It must be horrible to live based on one's own works. I never know if I've done enough good to counteract the evil. Only knowing that Christ paid the price for me gives me comfort. I hope this young man finds that as well.

OH MAN 🙄😂😭 if people just read the book of Roman’s they would stop attributing “morality” to something humans build over time through empathy. Yeah sometimes, as individuals, through experience, we apply our God given conscience to learn, BUT when God has made it clear in Romans that we all know the truth, that’s the ultimate truth. That morality flows from An Absolute and perfectly just God, and that we either dull our conscience, suppress the truth in unrighteousness, or make excuses for ourselves. This isn’t man made just because it can be discovered by man. This is true for the moral law just like it is for any transcendent law of nature.

Morality is simply the cognitive process of differentiating between human intentions, decisions, and actions that are morally appropriate (ought to occur in a certain dilemma) from those inappropriate (ought not to occur in a certain dilemma). Like all cognitive assessments, moral assessments always and necessarily involve the subject's own considerations. Therefore, morality is _always and necessarily_ SUBJECTIVE. This process hadn't anything to do with mythological deities. Each and every individual is the sole arbiter of his or her own morality. I, and I alone, determine which human behaviors are moral, amoral, or immoral, just as everyone else does.

Speaking as one who is in a very similar situation, I will encourage you to pray diligently for their salvation and to live out your faith according to the words of Jesus Christ. Love them as Christ loves them, but don't compromise the truth of the word of God. My mother and stepfather both believe, but my brother and sister reject God to the point where they will excommunicate me from their lives if I even mention the name of Jesus. I pray that God will send someone to them who can reach them. But remember to sow the seed of the word and water it; only the Holy Spirit can make it grow in their hearts

@@robertmitchell-tv5yf Hi robert, I'm not sure if justin will get back to you on that verse, he tends not to get involved with discussions from my experience, but, reading that verse, from my own perspective, it's something that can be read differently from reader to reader, people who read the Bible tend to take their own meaning regarding certain passages. The Psalms themselves are originally songs aren't they?, so a song writer might write a few lines that mean something to him/her, but is happy to allow the listener to take whatever meaning they want from those same lyrics. There's a great clip in one of the Beatles films ( it might be Let it be), where a fan meets John Lennon, and is convinced a line from one of his songs had a deep spiritual meaning, and John said to him "it's just something I wrote at the time, it didn't have any real significance to anything, it was just some words I happened to like and that fit with the tune".. but to the fan, it meant something completely different.

@@robertmitchell-tv5yf No probs robert, lets be honest, we'll never know the true thoughts of the original people who wrote those ancient scriptures, our lives today are a million miles from the lives they led, and the things they believed in. eg, had I lived in the middle ages it would seem perfectly acceptable to burn people alive at the stake because it was believed they had demons inside them, or because they were accused of witchcraft or heresy, what better way to kill a demon inside a person than to burn that person alive. Today that would seem barbaric beyond words, but back then it was an everyday occurrence all over Europe. They took the Bible at it's word "Suffer ye not a witch to live"

What it does say, judge not, THAT YE be not judged. If we are going to quote scripture, let's quote it right. Lest doesn't need to be used in every verse to make a point just because it sounds good.

But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach. 4 They tie up heavy, cumbersome loads and put them on other people’s shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to lift a finger to move them. 5 “Everything they do is done for people to see: They make their phylacteries[a] wide and the tassels on their garments long; 6 they love the place of honor at banquets and the most important seats in the synagogues; 7 they love to be greeted with respect in the marketplaces and to be called ‘Rabbi’ by others.”

Why we want to do good things coz God created us in His image, God always want to do good, why now we do bad things? Coz Adam has sin and we have his sin in our DNA in this world, meaning we, humans tends to do bad, a little kid thaught to be good, not to do bad.. Kids can be liars, have big ego, angry, having trantrum, manipulatif without us teaching them.. So humans tends to do bad, when in our hearts want to do good, coz our spirit comes from God, but this world and Adam sins dwell in us, so we have to fight every day to do good things. Coz doing bad things is so easy, full of pleasure.. So its not coz human have good moral in their hearts but our spirit came from God.. So all the glory is only for Him..
