I'm a 68 year old American man. My daughter is 38. When she was 10 her favorite band was the one with Justin Timberlake. We took a father/daughter road trip out of Iowa to KCMO. We heard that band was in town at the civic auditorium. Went straight there and it was sold out. My daughter was so bummed. I dug down deep and, knowing there is always a way, asked for the Hall Manager. We ended up stage side in the Press Box for FREE. Prayer works, and so does a father's love for his daughter.

This is one of the GREATEST collaborations of ALL TIME. That night on the CMAs (I guess that's what it was) went down in history as one of the best performances EVER!! HANDS DOWN! It just doesn't get any better than that.

This is about 2 years later and I still love it. I have never looked at the CMA before but that night was the first!!!! I didn't like country music, never had, but that song just just blew me away. I record it and listen to it over and over again. The next day I played it for everyone, just couldn't believe a county song could sound so good. It was that soul sound that made it sound sooooo dawg good. CHRIS STAPLETON, you made a lover out of ME. KEEP MAKING THEM LIKE THAT.

Agree, that was the first I'd seen Chris Stapleton. I've been a HUGE fan ever since. I rewound my TV as many times as possible to see it again & again!

Chris Stapleton and ETTA. Love , love them. It don’t get no better.

These two artists along with Mrs Stapleton have a chemistry that is hard to find. I found myself getting goosebumps listening to this video. Kris is mellow cool and a huge talent with that down home flavor. Pairing these two together was a stroke of genius. I could listen all day!

Writes great songs and produces them . And gives back to his community . Doing all these as Paul McCartney did , puts him way ahead of most performers that are great like him . I'm 67 yrs old and went to a concert of his that he danced up a storm , sang him heart out and played the guitar during a set of Elvis songs . Top 5 concerts I've been to and I've been to 50 plus concerts including Bruce , Stones , Eric , The Who , Eagles , CSNY and many other greats . None of those can do what he's all done . In my opinion . Check him out ...

Love the guy. . . it's a great song. . . but never. . . never ever again make that comparison. John Mayer is one of the greatest guitar players to ever touch a guitar. He is one of the greatest musicians to ever touch any instrument. Bring his name up to the best guitar player you know and make that comparison and see what they say. This is one of the best songs ever written. . . I'll admit that. . . but as far as being anywhere in Mayers world. . . not even close. . . not even a mile, a country, a continent, a world, or a galaxy away. . . Thats like comparing Kurt Cobain to Yngwie Malmsteen, or Ariana Grande to Jimi Hendrix, great musicians in their own rights but not on even near the same level. John Mayer is one top 5-10 guitar players of all time in any genre, something worthy of the title virtuoso.
