You should go and read the entire story. You are trying to make it sound like it was stolen. Jack Daniels was taught how to make whiskey but his befriended slave and they worked together to perfect the whiskey and eventually the friend came up with the recipe that is still today.

@williamblackard1092 Actually, nothing I said implies Daniels stole the recipe from Green, although the implication is there. It's there because you and I both know Green was never officially credited until 150 years later AND most likely wasn't properly financially compensated either, being a former slave. You're the one trying to change the narrative. What evidence do you have that the two worked together on the recipe? Sorry bro, this is just another example of how capitalism promoted white supremacy in this country, which still continues today! WE HAVE AN ENTIRE PARTY DIDICATED TO IT!
