One of the best live duets in music history...these two are amazing together!!!

People dont realize how important this live performance is. Hands down one of the very best of our generation has caught on camera. This is one of those greatest all time live performances ever caught on film that will be treasured 50 years from now.

I completely agree...Like Queen at Live Aid, Like Micheal Jackson at the Mowtown anniversary when he did the "first" moonwalk.... Etc...There are many but not been one worth saying this about in years. This is one.

@@CDO1113 I agree. I should've said "He blew up on the national stage that night". A few years before that I came across a video where he was at a songwriters convention or something and he played "Whiskey and You" on the acoustic and I remember thinking "How the hell is this guy not signed?".

I screamed for years that he was the best voice in Nashville and nobody listened because he wasnt played on the radio ... check out him in the background behind (swallows bile) Luke Bryant ... as Luke sings the song HE WROTE (drink a beer) : kzread.info/dash/bejne/hIFpw7lxY6_FdKg.html Nobody even knew who he was... it was so sad.

Chris Stapleton's gonna save Country Music.

Chris Stapleton has been on the country scene FOREVER. He was a fabulous song writer for years and finally started singing his own songs. Us here in Nashville have known of him for years. 💙🎶

That is one of those performances that is once in a lifetime to see it's very uplifting and makes you feel good in your soul

Greatest live tv performance ever. One of the 5 most moving musical experiences of my life. I grew up in a musical family, including a grandmother who wrote gospel music along with collaborations with Bobby Fuller in the 1960’s. My father was involved and a road manager. My uncle was also a musician and Uber talented. He was a lefty who played a right handed guitar. He played every instrument and was self taught. As a teenager I was a sound man and handled my uncles band for all of their gigs and moonlighted for many touring groups that needed sound production help (Three Dog Night, Eddie Money, The Outfield, Tracy Bird, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and a few others). Every night to close gigs down, my uncles band would play All Right Now by Free. My uncle handled lead vocals and lead guitar. Every single gig I had goosebumps from that performance as did most of the crowd. It was a constant joy for me. Hearing Sammy Hagar do an acoustic set while touring with Van Halen and singing Where Eagles Fly while strumming his Ovation was another for me. Fleetwood Mac performing a medley of Rhiannon, Dreams and The Chain was another. I really hope to hear Little Big Town live sometime as I am suspecting they will provide one of those moments. Chris and Justin provided the only non-in-person experience for me. Amazing every time I hear it.

This is one of the best performances I’ve had the privilege to see (and hear), not only of the past few years, but of all time. Just my opinion.

This is the first time I seen Chris , I have been a fan ever since, great video as always god bless !!!

This was the best CMA performance ever!!!!

His wife has a beautiful voice. Listen to You Are My Sunshine by Morgan Stapleton. Beautiful!

remember this is an awards show...When a room Filled with World Class Entertainers are ALL on their feet 1/4 way through your performance and are clapping, dancing & have smiles of sheer joy on their faces....it says all that need be said.

Only recently got in to Chris Stapleton and think he's an extremely talented vocalist/lyricist and man can he make that guitar sing. I've sung along to a few of JT's songs but until I saw this performance, thought of him as a 'pretty boy pop star. Thanks for showing me how talented he really is.

I can’t watch this too often! That American Idol judge they kept showing was Keith Urban, a Nashville legend of his own.

I remember when I watched this. I’m not big on Chris but he can sing! Now I tried to not like JT as much as everyone else does but he kept creeping in and winning me over. When he did this I told my mom he could baptize my cat and my cat would thank him 😂 I caved into JT.

Man oh man. That was straight fire! Chris Stapleton is a monster. I like me some JT too.

I, myself have only recently discovered Chris. As a Bluegrass fan, I first heard him with a Bluegrass band called The Steeldrivers. Some his work with that band can bring tears to your eyes...really! Outstanding voice.

TY... you’ve got to watch some of the Country Music Awards Shows you’d love it! I consider the day I found you on KZread one of my happiest days in a long time... almost nothing makes me enjoy life more as much as watching someone else discover new music for their life. I personally can not imagine life without music and don’t consider my day complete until I’ve heard a new song every day. Also, watching you share your Christian faith in such a loving way while still holding strong to your beliefs is very inspiring. Right it's hard to sleep when the words and soul slides through

IMHO...that performance was the 2nd best performance I've seen on ANY AWARDS SHOW I've seen.... 2nd to only MJ's Motown performance... Hadn't really heard of Chris BEFORE that night..but when I first saw him, I immediately thought he was a 'country' performer...but when he started to sing, I was like... *WTF?* Dude's got some vocals! And JT...just added to the overall "coolness factor"...

One of my favourite live performances ever. Another great one is Jennifer Hudson singing "Simply Beautiful" by Al Green, which is another live performance!

They ripped this song(s) up one side and down the other. One of the GREATEST performances I ever witness on tv. Wow.
