Poor quality/low-budget movies are usually direct-to-video/DVD releases (which means they are not shown in movie theaters). Direct (straight) to audio would mean that even less people want to see it ;)

Chris Rock is not to be played with. Dude is wicked funny and he doesn't study jokes, they come straight from the head.

You're so very right. Although I knew about Rock since long, never gave a serious look at the guy's work until that happened. And omg, this guy is a genius, I finally realised! Falls right into the same pool of Murphy, Chappelle, Pryor, Williams, Carlin, you name them. I've become another fan.

He's so disruptive, taking control every time, love it

When it isn’t his voice you realize how sharp and quick Dave really is.. “wouldn’t hold up in court”.

Definitely Carlin. Just an overall brilliant guy. And this is not meant to minimize Chapelle or Rock, who are smart, hilarious and insightful and make you think. The late Patrice O’Neal was also a really smart, hilarious and insightful guy, as is his old buddy Bill Burr.
