This man is who all other men should look up to. A devoted husband, father, and true to his whole family. A man who did exactly what he wanted in life, and did it honestly. Not a county boy I know who don't admire this awesome man.

This was my husband’s pick for our wedding song. He sang it to me until the day he died. I’ll love it forever ❤️🩹

This is what country music is supposed to be. A real man and a cowboy to boot with such a voice.

It's too bad he's gone. Music is legendary. Growing up in the rodeo world and being a former contestant, he would come out and sing for free. Chris had no problem getting behind the chutes with the cowboys and not afraid to get dirty. Back in Jan of 1998, at the IPRA Finals in Oklahoma City, me and my travel partners got to sit with Chris and the band at a steak house. Down to earth and we all had a great time. Outstanding man and I felt honored to meet him and the band. He is really missed.

I am a gen z, and I wish people in my generation listen to music like this more often. RIP Chris, I wish I could of been alive to see you in concert!

I remember I dedicated this song to my ex wife, it has been several years since we divorced and I still miss her every day. I know most people would say I am crazy.

Chris had it all: talent, looks and a wonderful family. Gone far too young.

My bestfriend (now boyfriend) told me how important this song is to him. He refused to play me the song until it was the right moment. He said after everytime we hung out he listened to it. A few weeks ago he played me this song in his truck as he held me. I may have cried just a liiiittle bit.

His son Ned is a close replacement. Though he'll never be his daddy he still keeps true to the Ledoux name and legacy

I got to see him in concert 5 months before he passed. Full of energy, love and passion for the sport he loved. The world will never be the same without his ongoing music and talents. God Bless Chris LeDoux and his family.

Watched him preform live at the Eugene Pro Rodeo. My future husband knew the rodeo manager and had Chris LeDoux announce this song from Jeff to me and Jeff took me into the middle of the rodeo arena and danced with me while Chris sang it to what felt like was just us. That was 1995....

When I was three years old I had a cowboy hat just like his and during one of his concerts my dad took me up to the outdoor stage and Chris signed my hat and when I got back I said "That man just put ABCs on my hat". I still have that hat some 17 plus years later and it's one of my most favorite possessions and memories. RIP Chris Ledoux king of good ol' fashioned country music.

I walked down the aisle to this song & we walked out as a new couple to Life is a Highway! My all time favorite singer. Keep singing up there Chris! We're still listening.❤️🎶
