This Audition was the first time I'd ever heard your name. I was hooked from the guitar intro as that's one of my favorite songs in the world. I am a faithful follower and I eagerly await your name to go up in big lights all over the globe like you were born to do it. ~eagerly awaiting the next release... ~your song / Something like me - is my new #1 favorite song of all time.. @Luke Younts It's cool. He'd already won the Swedish version of the show by this point. The fact that Cowell "guessed" he was a singer was bullcrap as he'd have been very aware of Klaffords success by this point. Not taking away that this was a beautiful rendition but the show made him out to be a brand new singer that hadn't done it before and it's not the case.

You can't earn salvation by good works, because God will judge us for our sin. Good News is that Jesus Christ lived a perfect, holy, sinless life and He died for our sins according to the Scriptures, He was buried and He was raised from the dead on the third day according to the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.’’ (John 3:16) We aren’t saved by our good works, but only by the grace of God through faith in Christ. This is how you can get saved from sin and hell - repent of your sins and trust in Jesus Christ. Get to know Him by reading God's Word. So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him.” (Luke 11:13) ''What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not!'' (Romans 6:15) ''Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out'' (Acts 3:19) Repentance is a turning away from sin and all evil works, and it always results in changed behavior (Luke 3:8). Biblically, a person who repents does not continue willfully in sin. While sorrow from sin is not equivalent to repentance, it is certainly an element of scriptural repentance (2 Corinthians 7:10). Do not play a hypocrite. ''God is light; in Him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth.'' (1 John 1:5-6) (John 3:3) Jesus replied, "Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again." If you have repented and have genuine faith in Jesus Christ then you will receive the gift of Holy Spirit and be born-again spiritually. This is the best audition of history. I have not words to describe it. Everything is simply perfect

It's a mostly rare occasion when a covering artist does a song in such a way that the audience at large would call it "better than the original"...This was/is such a case. When I heard this rendition the first time, I went through a very bad patch in my life. I'm not out of the woods yet, but this moves me tears every time. My wife has been instructed that this song will be played at my funeral...THIS cover!

It`s actually not that rare. And it is on full display on youtube. It`s always easier to improve on something existing than to create something new. That`s especially true for writing of all kinds (music, lyrics, books, poems). And not all writers were good singers. They did the foundation and better singers build on it. Happens all the time. The only reason this might be somewhat perceived as rare is that most people prefer the version they are used to.

I think when Elton John sang at Princess Diana's funeral that was the most emotion put into a song but then again Elton John is a living legend.

I have to keep coming back to this every few months or so it's too good not to. Still gets me teary everytime I watch it. Such an amazing voice Chris.

This is the day he won my heart. I had tears and goosebumps watching him sing. I will forever think he should have gotten the golden buzzer, should have been the winner!!! It broke my heart to see him leave the show. Best performance i have seen to date on AGT! We Americans love you Chris!!

The natural raw talented singers that have performed on AGT for 14-15 years and Idol from age 9-50 is mindblowing!! Why is it that raw unknown natural talented singers are capable of moving us in way they do?? Especially the last five years. I figured it out! the parents are feeding their kids weiner water soup.
