As a father myself with a young Son, I have to be totally honest and say that when I saw this I played it 3 times and had tears in my eyes. I grew up with out a dad and I am a dad and I tell my children it’s tuff to be a dad when you don’t know what one is I lost my wife 13 yrs ago and I had to raise 4 all alone they are in there 20’s and 30’s now I’ve bin there from day one and I’ll be there till I take my last breath . Love the connection guys great song had me tear up and I’m 49 and I still hug my troops and tell them I love them everyday 👍 take care dads hugs your troops no matter how old they are

Obviously the father/son part of it is amazing. Aside from that the song is beautiful, Tim has a great Jason Mraz type vibe to him. And Jack’s voice is gorgeous, I hope he keeps training it as he gets older and it changes. Their voices mix so well together.

This has been one of my favorites since the day I discovered it

My fav part of the interview starts at 2:35 when the son saved his father who seemed to stumble a little answering Simon’s question what the song was about, and the son simply kept it as “it’s about how lucky we are to have what we have.” Maturity and love comes in different sizes.

This is one of those songs I can set to loop and replay for hours. I wish them much success.

This kid, every time he says that line. "Others leave to young...." As a combat veteran who lost so many brothers in our teens, this song rips me to pieces. And that kids voice......I can only quote someone to make a proper compliment. "That's a lovely lovely voice."

Finally someone who wins the Golden Buzzer picks up some golden confetti to keep. That's what I would do. Take a bunch put in a glass dome and put it on the mantle as a souvenir.

Oh my! me to!! i have watched this video for I was thinking, was an perhaps an unhealthy amount of times. I am and have been a schooled musician/ teacher self employed guitar/ piano/ singer and song writer for most of my life, But WOW! Great song, Great father. Humble family.. hard to come by these days. I have shed so many tears from the probably 50 times I have watched this. I have to drink twice the water on a normal day! And, Yes dad does a great job at directing attention to his son. I literally forced my 10 year old son to watch this video. I told him, I can teach you to sing and play any instrument. I would love for us to have that connection. I told him... with practice you and I can do anything like this.. He blew me off because he was too busy playing fucking Fortnight. Meanwhile, I will try to enjoy him, as he is still a great child. Looks a lot like Jack actually.

At the very end, Tim saying to wife, "We need more children" Wow!!! I burst into tears and laughter at the same time. We are the Lucky Ones. Thanks Jack and Tim. I needed that.

This song's amazing! I just about managed to hold back my tears! I love how Tim let Jack sing the lead parts in the song and let him be the centre of attention. I remember watching a mother/daughter act where the mum sang pretty much all of the song by herself & left her daughter just stood there not singing anything and looking really sad. I remember they didn't get through and Simon was like "You're OK, but your daughter just looks like she's been dragged along and she doesn't want to be there!"

Simon Cowell is such a deeply loving man who demonstrates his humanity with typical English charm. We need shows like this in Europe.

What an exemplary father he has. The little boy has already accumulated orders of magnitude more emotional intelligence and maturity than most of his 5-10 year olds. Look at his face while singing, amazing!

My goodness. I don't know how many times I have watched this, still watching in September 2021 and each time it brings me tears of joy and happiness. Such a beautiful song, sung with such a feeling that everyone watching it can feel the emotion. No words to describe the feeling I have got. The bond within the family is such a great thing to watch. Did anyone notice Dad telling Mum "we need more children". Stay blessed.

I still tear up watching, 65 and lost two

People are always saying the ones with the best talent need the golden buzzer. But we need to spread a world of love and emotions. Look at how much this dad loves his son. These are things we need to celebrate along with talent. Simon is following his heart.

Wow. So glad I watched this. I've watched it ten times and I've teared up every time. This was awesome to watch. And to think, the kid was once on The Voice before BGT.

They mad me cry I just lost a dad I was lucky to have. The boy is so adorable his voice is beautiful. The dad is soulful perfect combo. 🌟

I love how Tim stood up and directed his hands to his son. 💙

Know the feeling mate. It's a tough pill to swallow. Thought I had it hard for losing my mum at 14 and my dad at 27. We on our own. Hope they gave you good values and a chance in life like mine did. Still, I feel kind of lost, things kinda lose meaning. Crazy how much we live for the others without realizing it and when they are gone, we kinda forget how to live for ourselfs hehe. My father would have been 79 y/o two days ago, time do fly by, but we'll never forget.

I can't get enough of these ❤❤❤👏👏I would applaud them a thousand times over if I could. They really deserved the golden buzzer especially coming from simon. It was just the sweetest❤❤

That was so cute when one of the hosts was helping shoving golden flakes in his pocket as they were leaving the stage.....God I love these golden buzzer videos. They bring me to such a happy place when I need it.

I love how he lets his son do the picking its shows how much he taught and trust him

I'm a single dad struggling through a heavy addiction...dealing with sobriety isnt easy I recently picked up a guitar and I'll do my best teach my daughter the guitar as much as I have since being clean...

I love these two, they sing with their hearts and gives me a deep feeling of love that it hurts. True.

They stopped competing as soon as they started singing. That was just a father and son singing their hearts our for each other and we were lucky enough to be in their presence. So wholesome!
