When you watch his old fights you understand how good he actually was, I would show young fighters his fights before anyone else, especially for the footwork.

Naz however was a great British fighter but could be a horrible arrogant prick back in his day .However over the last few years he seems a nicer person and more down to earth.

Chris Eubank was a motivational speaker before motivational speaking was a thing.

I can't help but like Chris he's a real genuine down to earth guy and was hands down one of the greatest fighters of all time

This man is a inspiration to me. He's the only true rebel I've ever seen. He's prim and proper but he would still whip anyone anytime anywhere in a sharp suit and still come out looking fresh. He speaks like a teacher and has so much self respect but nobody would have guessed he comes from the streets. A True inspiration for someone like me

Great comment. Even at his Son's biggest fights more eyes are on Chris Sr. People still want to hear his opinion and listen to what he has to say.

Yes, I certainly appreciate him these days. He's honest. He's clearly intelligent. He's witty. He was fantastic for British boxing even though I didn't see that at the time. My mistake.

Good comment. Thanks for you're honesty. I changed my original opinion of Chris also. He'll probably only receive the respect and once he's no longer with us. A complete one off. One of the best Brit's to ever do it at middle weight.

Used to hate him for I thought was arrogance but now I absolutely love him the way he dresses his attitude retro appearance and I admire how he believes in himself no matter what people think of him ,could listen to him all day long ,quality guy👍

Was a very very tough man in the ring and I have huge respect for him as a fighter. Loved how he kept Smith from butting in.

I like how honest he is about his losses. Very humble in defeat.

I respect him for admitting that he lost the killer finishing instinct.

I have the utmost respect for Eubank. Educated and a great fighter. Something the public were not willing to accept at the time. Still sharp.

I proud oh him too as a human.. He is humble,and very smart, intelligent boxer under Muhammed Ali and one or two more.. He is a real GOAT.. And I proud to beıng a Turk too..

I have always will always love Chris Eubank. Not just as a fighter but as a man and a fantastic human being. He is a beautiful role model, his son Jr is an absolute credit to him and he will always have a special place in my heart. A TRUE warrior.

In his heyday no-one took time to listen to him all they wanted to do was hate because of his "stage" arrogance. But now he's retired you can only listen to him and he's such an exacting man. He's one of a kind. True pro in the ring and out of the ring. What a role model!

Can’t hate this guy.. who can explain it better? No one. I was so privileged in the amateurs to share the ring and many many training sessions, runing and sprits session with JR and every time his father came to our gym was just incredible. He once told me your duty as a fighter isn’t just to be a champion in boxing but in life in its self. Never forget those words from him.

Knowing after 6 rounds a man is to good for you and you still carry on that's next level guts and heart

I think he has a few IQ points above average at best but he has a strong system of thought and self reflection which over the years has allowed him to accumulate knowledge (and vocabulary) in a very functional way. Couple that with a great boxing career and an eclectic and sometimes terrible dress sense... He's definitely one of life's more interesting characters; and I think he's fantastic.

How can anyone not like this guy, honestly. Such a kind hearted soul.

If you are unsure, go read his book which is mentioned at the start. Read it years ago and I think I recall how he said he had to jabs for 2 years. Yes, only jabs. Much more than that obvs but a great respect for a great man.

I really have a lot of respect for this man. He truly is a man.
