You can say what you like about Chris Eubank, but he brought a helluva lot to UK boxing. He fought tough men, and kept an air of dignity about him that many fighters don't have or let go when they get rich. Anyone with respect would honour the man, or at least his achievements, he earned it

Emi Duncan look no reason to get upset, and if you want to rip apart mayweather get in line behind me - but to be fair, mayweather with the exception of pacquiao I think he has fought anyone (and by fight I mean to say hug and wrestle opponents, and bore the rest of us). In an era of roy jones, julian jackson, james toney and many others, how is it your boy never fought one of them? how can any fighter have illusions of greatness if they have essentially fought no one? Sorry pal, being the european or english champ alone is really meaningless, nothing more than provincial chest pounding

I was too young when he was fighting but I'm shocked the Brits hated him. They (and I) loved Prince Naseem, and he was 10x more cocky. This guy was eccentric the way he wore those one eyed glasses, outfits or top hats. He conquered America/the world whilst carrying the British flag, and did so in a very classy manner. We should be ashamed of grilling one of our own, especially during fights against Yanks

Very touching documentary about Chris Eubank. As a child I, like everyone else, disliked Eubank with a vengeance. But now as an adult he has become a hero. The fights he had with Nigel Benn and MIchael Watson as well as others are legendary and atmospheric. What I particularly like about this documentary is that everyone hated Eubank's guts including other fighters like Benn and Watson, but now he is best mates, or so it appears, with these guys now that the boxing gloves are off. It's beautiful and honourable that Eubank now manly hugs and kisses the guys who once wanted to rip his guts out. It's a shame that British boxing has become so glum and uninteresting today.. will we ever see the likes of Eubank again? Chris Sattaur

That part where he talks about how he despises boxing, but is complicit in it and admits to the fact that it cannot be banned, just like prostitution. Is... such a nuanced take on recognizing humanity's demons and living with it, while asking for forgiveness because there's no other way to live. It's poetic.

This was a wonderful retelling of the Eubank legacy. The only over-the-top ring entrances I ever appreciated we his. And the man could fight. I even loved his arrogance. I didn't appreciate him at the time. I wanted Benn and Watson to beat him. Looking back, for me, this was the greatest era for British boxing. Eubank generated electricity. God bless Michael Watson. He was a superb fighter. On the fateful night, Eubank was outfought, outthought, against a backdrop of hatred and losing his titles. What does he do. He refuses to give up, refuses to let go. He digs in, with the world seemingly against him. And then he wins. And then he has to witness what happens to Michael. A tragic way for one of the best fights ever to end. Eubank could not be denied. But he never went for full throttle again.

Ant believe I have only just seen this vid! It goes without saying he was a TRUE legend of boxing. It was because of him that as a child I took interest in this great sport. I did not always understand him, I certainly found him “cocky” at times, and when him and Benn fought I was in Benns corner! But as someone who has followed the sport of boxing since NO ONE had grown the sport at grass routes in British biking like he did. He paved the way for the likes of Naseem and AJ to follow. At his heart he was a true warrior and I have no doubt in my mind he would of achieved even more where it not for the tragic outcome of the Watson fight. He NEVER was the same boxer then. PS anyone remember his sons fight against Spike O Sullivan? Chris Senior was banging on the canvas for the ref to stop the fight!!!

If you slow it down to .25 (click the gear) and watch that shot at 24:42. The shot catches him clean on the chin snapping his jaw and whole head around so fast you cant even see it in normal speed and can barely see it here. Not only that he ducked into it at the same time...Would be like taking a baseball bat to the jaw while you try to headbutt the bat. The fact they even let him keep fighting after that when he couldn't close his mouth and looked lost and stumbling still...makes me real happy we have so much more information on concussions and referees and corner men that are looking out for their fighters long term health.

Eubank True Champion Of Boxing... Thank You Chris..
Beautiful
brilliant in every way.
That part where he talks about how he despises boxing, but is complicit in it and admits to the fact that it cannot be banned, just like prostitution. Is... such a nuanced take on recognizing humanity's demons and living with it, while asking for forgiveness because there's no other way to live. It's poetic.
I can't hear Simply The Best without thinking of Chris. He was awesome
Simply........The Man!
I walked forward and I threw a shot.
Amazing man! great documentary and the story continues its like history repeating itself with Eubanks Jnr love these guys
what a man
That was fantastic, what an absolute legend
amazing documentary. thank you chris eubank for the entertainment and the trail blaze you set for young upcoming fighters of the world today.
He was one of the greats of british boxing. Boxing needs more characters like this. ESPECIALLY britsh boxing. Who do we have these days??
what a legend chris eubank is. makes me proud to be british.. thank you chris.
Fair play Chris Eubank. Hope his boy wins the world title
Chris - an eccentric, nuts maybe, - but what a man, annoyingly loveable, an athlete, a true champion , a superstar who deserves the respect he is know retrospectively getting - Sir Chris - knight him him just for the look on his face when he finally relises how respected he is - he deserves it . All the best Chris
But gonna lie the end made me tear up..
Chris Eubanks, Michael Watson & Nigel Benn: three warriors and three classy guys. Anybody who wants to try and knock Chris Eubank's should listen to what he says and watch what he does at 23:51. The guy has a true warrior spirit. If things hadn't turned out sadly the way they did for Michael, Eubanks would have been a legend after that fight
13'27 simply some of the best TV from all time. After that rivalry to this is superb! Best of sport
One of the greatest ever lived, the first real showman of boxing

We love you chris
What a man
What an inspiration.
1 word LEGEND
This was a wonderful retelling of the Eubank legacy. The only over-the-top ring entrances I ever appreciated we his. And the man could fight. I even loved his arrogance. He was like the great matadors, who, having turned the bull, and remaining in harm's way, turned their back on it, and casually strolled away.
Brilliant video, thanks for the upload
Just fantastic.
But he never went for full throttle again.
my all time favourite boxer
Good story thanks.
good to see positive comments, great achiever, indomitable spirit
I love Chris cause he went from nothing to something ! the hard way ! remember the Watson fight .
What a warrior what a man bless you sir and all your family they should have a statue of you in hove town hall a gold bronze wonderfull courageous magnificent true grit
Never knocked out once during his career which says alot of things!
Ubank is a great example of a warrior beating his surroundings dominating the world we live in at the same time not bothered by negativity envy and hate that great success always attracts.
the quote at 46mins on last line has an extra "neither" in it, just to let u know. much gratitude

I always thought there was more to him, Tel. LOL! I was the guy who won the 40 quid in the Games room in the club when everyone said Benn would win. I said, no guys...Eubank, at that stage was practically invincible...Hope you're well son!!!! xxx (:-)

Yes, he was more than just a slugger bum. He was...is! Intelligent~! (:-) xxx
Legend and pioneer and most certainly one of kind
A legend. Whether now or in a hundred years.
I used to get my haircut with mike He’s very positive and very tall amazing fighters
LEGEND!!!
Great man and warrior
I respect the man for all that he has he has done he's a great man
This man is a true British legend
5.14 classic.... the mans a legend (Ronnie and Chris)
true legend
DAMN THIS WAS GOOD
one of the few with intellect - i was a benn fan 100% , but i have the upmost respect for chris , an adult in a world full of empty headed animals
During my lifetime boxing has introduced 2 exceptional showmen, Ali & Eubank. Can you even imagine if they in their prime could have met in the ring? The pre-fight buzz would have been deafening and we would have loved it.
Hero, love the mad man.
Have to feel for his son aswell #pray4blackwell
Amazing.
