There are so many great vocalists out there both sonically and technically but Chris Cornell was (and will always be) the ONE and ONLY and that's what makes him the best (at least for me).

He was on anti anxiety pills for stage nerves their side effects included suicidal tendencies. Wish he had just retired instead of kept taking them and touring. For some reason people think if a doctor gives you something it's fine obviously he was not monitored properly. Society is way too overmedicated imo. Same with the pain pills they hand out like candy get people addicted.

You perhaps know a lot about this, but to a layman like me it seemed a bit of a general statement. Also, are tendencies listed as side effects? Just curious!
