I hope some of today’s youth is just now discovering Chris Cornell’s music and falling in love with this legend. Just like I did with John Lennon as a child. I was lucky enough to be able to follow this mans entire career having been born in the 80’s. He may no longer be with us, but his music will live on forever.

I didn't really even start listening to his music until this year and, for some reason, I catch myself hoping he'll make more music only to realize he's not around to do it. I never really cared for his music until this year or cared when he died (I didn't really understand who he was back then), but now he's probably my favorite singer and someone who can no longer sing on this earth again. What I notice about his music is that it always has emotion, whether it's an emotional song or a typical rock and roll song, and he always has something to say when he sings. It doesn't matter if he sings his own songs or covers famous songs like Imagine or One, it's there somewhere. It doesn't make sense that I expect him to come out with new music when it's not possible, it doesn't feel right that he was taken before I could truly appreciate his music, and it hurts that he's not around to see how much people cared about him and his work.

We have one judge, and they'll get theirs. no doubt. i wrote a similar angry reply that some cold asshole wrote about Chris's death on BE YOURSELF.... The true audience and loyal fans 'got" his message, many of us suffer from THE SAME REAL DISEASES, AND PERSONALLY HE GAVE ME HOPE AND I LOVED HIM TO MY CORE. HARD TO ACCEPT HIS AND CHESTER'S LOSS. That's probably some 60's fanatic. This song, sang by him has way more soul in it, than when sang by John Lennon.

Celebrities passing don't really affect me. For some reason.....this one has ripped me to shreds. Been crying for 4 hours straight and I never cry.

When Chris died my heart was so bewildered. I worked as a nurse and all my co-workers ran to me and said "oh Rosie are you ok?" I stood there in shock unable to speak unable to think. An overwhelming sadness went through my entire body. I will never forget that day. RIP Chris. We all miss you. You will live on through your music❤❤❤.

So beautiful! Sometimes when he sings all thoughts in my head disappear and they stay gone for a long time. Gives me peace.

highlyanticipated death Just because a person was so sad in their life that they couldn't bear it anymore so they killed themselves they deserve to be tormented forever? That's literally the dumbest thing I've heard. God wouldn't shun a person for being so sad that they did that, he would be a really messed up one if he did.

I just wanna say that his voice especially in this song is angelic and so is the video especially when he looks up in the crowd!, I'll never forget it!

I always loved when Chris sang this song. Chris's deep compassion and hope for the world really came through. He was such an expressive singer. John Lennon would have been honored to hear Chris sing his song like this. Just beautiful!!

Chris Cornell has been such an inspiration in my life.

Every time I hear your voice I get chills .. since I was a boy I've been listening to you. I will always continue .one of the best artists of our time and always will live on in our hearts and our stereos. Thank you Chris for being part of our lives!!

One of my favorite songs, sung so beautifully by Chris Cornell, one of the best vocalist and musicians of our time. I would love to 'imagine' , that after the concert that night in Detroit, Chris Cornell called his beautiful wife and said good night to her and told her he loved her and the kids. Then, he went to sleep and woke up the next morning and continued his tour, hopping on the bus with his bandmates, hitting the road for the next stop. But sadly, life didn't happen like that, and Chris Cornell is gone. Whatever led him to the darkest depths of depression, we'll never know. Suicide sucks, I would like to imagine a different night for my own father, many years ago, who was also in the darkest depths of depression, on the night he took his own life. But sadly, I can't do that either. Suicide sucks, and I wish like hell, there was a cure?!?, a do-over button, a restart mode,--- anything to stop the pain and despair that leads someone to that place. So many lives lost in the battle of depression, when will it stop? what can be done? I try to IMAGINE a world, like John Lennon originally​ sang​ about,. a place unlike the one we live in today.. there's so much pain and struggling in this world sometimes, we gotta love each other, look out for each other, and try to be what we can for ourselves and each other, there's gotta be a way....😥 Rest in peace, Chris Cornell ..thank you for the music and the passion you put into each song, each performance you gave...music soothes the soul.. 🎶🎸✌

As beautiful as anything out there, I love his voice and his style. I am so pissed off that there was no one there to help him or prevent this from happening such a sad and painful lose to millions of music lovers and fans and of course his family and friends as well and four-most. He has left an unforgettable mark on millions and music forever, with that it was a life well lived.

I have been sitting here today going backnforth from his early days to now and how much he changed well grew up gave hope for people struggling with addiction and came back his voice untouched from the pain that is what I can not get over it does not matter what you have what you gain what you lose what you get back it will always be there ready or not it will always be there I do hope there is here after and he his at peace

One of the most beautiful things I've ever heard in my life, he had such a remarkable voice and style, the world lost something so special with him.

I know we all have problems, and some seem to be tiny if we compare them with others; But I'm really having a terrible time in what should be my best years, my youth. My country is in a humanitarian crisis, Venezuela, almost at war, I can not go to study for that reason (and I have internet just for luck),plus I feel very sunk adding other personal problems, and just (late 2016) when I learned of his talented work and began to enjoy his molodies that energized my soul, dies in the month of my birthday this singer whom I already appreciate. Yes, it may sound dramatic, but that's how it feels. I wish the soul of Chris know that, hearing his music, gives me some peace in difficult times. Rest in peace Chris, and make your music there in the sky; I also hope to go there in due time and to sit in the front row to listening to you haha.
