Wasting My Time: it took a while but eventually it made some sense the more I studied it. I added my own twists in it which made it easier for me than what Jeff wrote. But it is definitely challenging to say the least. I’m working on redoing the whole thing and uploading a new and better video where you can break it down to slower speeds and practice along with the music. Keep working though, it’s tough but it’s not impossible.
I can’t even read it

Do you have the music for it?
Keep that head! up that drum's not going anywhere! Good job though 👍
The backing track was too loud in most places and covered your playing. Otherwise, decent cover
Very nice but control your levels plz.......

Do you believe in heights?
@superninja2202

Why do heights matter? His sound quality is good and that's all that matters. After all, as a musician, I care about how I sound more than how I look

Mike Paul as a musician you should know stick heights are a part of the musics dynamics (they’re actually written on music) and your stick control.

@@floydgarneriii8873 I guess we'll just have to disagree on this one. I definitely see where you are coming from. I've played with ensembles that stress heights religiously and other ensembles that focus on dynamics and touch. I've found the latter to be more successful. An example of a group that does not define heights is SCV. Rennick is not so worried with the visual aspect as he is musicality of it. With that said, I do not discredit ensembles that use the height system. I believe heights can be effective to create dynamic contrast but I also believe that taking a step back and focusing on the sound you are producing is much more effective

@@floydgarneriii8873 Also, my music is written with dynamics, not heights

Percussion music is written with dynamics and the dynamics have stick heights in inches lol. I can also see where your coming from when the heights to dynamics aren't defined.
