Ah yes, always good to have a firm grip on the glutes before a show.
I’ve probably watched this show a million times and that ballad hit still gives me goosebumps

As a BD alum (1984), I wish to again congratulate our in-state rivals for a magnificent performance and a well-deserved win (and it's about fucking time SVC was back on top!). Even in our alum seating block at the Rose Bowl show, we knew this was a monster program. Thanks for bringing yet another title to California (hey, if we're only going to get Finals out here once in over 40 years, winning dozens of times will just have to do!)
Bryce has such godly control over his sticks, this dude is inhuman

Becoming a better drummer and then coming back to watch this video is so therapeutic. Slowly being able to comprehend the beats/rhythms is so inspiring :)
3:13 to 3:44 is the nuttiest part of the book.

I may be r/woooshed but he’s poking around with the concept that you’re supposed to be early backfield due to sound delay to be synced with the front ensemble so I think he was being sarcastic

Now I’m not a percussionist but that sounds pretty damn clean to me

*He was most likely a reserve player just in case he needed to fill in for another.* Since they won, might as well play along with them just for some fun and almost as a final action for the rest of the season. However, he can't stay on for the entire thing because of certain spots in the drill. The drum break doesn't need a specific-specific dot, so he can kinda just stand wherever. In the press-box cam, you can see others on the opposite side of the field doing the same as him, but very discreet since they have minor parts/just dancing.
@gagemartin4681

He was an alternate all season and since it was their victory run they allowed him to play the party set with them

@@derrickpham3989 Brandon's got 2 DCI rings, an I&E snare title, a Sanford, the DCI high score, and id BD center snare....I'd say he is. Show us your similar results.....we'll wait. Possibly a 3rd ring in 2019, because NO corps is more pissed than BD after they lose. i think this is his ageout year...and the only reason he doesn't have 3 rings and a chance to join the very exclusive 4-ring club was he took a year off for college in 2017.
