One of the better versions on KZread tbh. Everyone always tries to do one of two things: Play the piece too literally with little expression.... OR be overly expressive and dramatic, which actually does the complete OPPOSITE of what is intended and takes away from the heart of the piece. This is pretty close to perfect imo. She stayed absolutely true to the sheet music while also including just the right amount of her own interpretation. Wonderful.

almost every piece from Chopin actually focuses on expressivity . Afterall , almost any piece of Classical Music should be seek to be played with passion , artistic and emotional expression. After practicing enough to be able to focus more on the interpretation rather tehnicall problems.

@@bluefire2308 As i said.... "A l m o s t any piece of Classical Music..." Not any composers , its music would be great . Not all the pieces wrote by an composers can be named Masterpieces. Composers haved different reasons to write a certain piece , that reson would influence the limits of creativity. ( Even if it by love for someone , or to dedicate a certain piece to someone , or to achieve fame or money , or simply the composer wrote a piece because we figured out an melody and wanted to develop it .) So , in our case , Flight of Bumblebee , as its name , Rachmaninoff wanted to represent musically an Bumblebee flight . An Bumblebee is big , and very annoying ( maybe more than an simple bee) , so Rachmaninoff made his piece too annoying . Joking a little bit but , we need to consider that each person has its own tastes , but each person can "attune" its ear to ney music genres or style of that genre , in our case , Flight of Bumblebee is a bit of different style of Music in the Classical Music universe. Now , as an exemple , I dont find this piece so bad actually , and even interesting , but i dont listen to it or i would because , its not on my taste but , its interesting , first that the musicality is not that bad , especially with those runs and simpel bass chords that are actually sweet for me . Whats really annoying i would say , is the main theme , where you can find it at the beggining , but don't forget , that Rachmaninoff meant to make it so.

Remember y’all playing any Chopin piece even if it’s regarded as his easiest is still a great feat and anyone who has played this or any other piece of his should be proud of themselves, y’all got this and I hope you all continue your piano journeys, and for those of you who are just listening to listen you all have great tastes in music and I encourage you to try the piano! It can be a lot of fun especially once you get to the point where you can play full length pieces.

But honestly idk if I can since I get lazy. I actually tried playing Fantaisie Impromptu first, then got bored after learning the intro. I moved on to Minute Waltz but my left hand's speed doesn't go with the right hand. I got here and found out that this was the song for me.

I always imagine a heartbreaking scene where a widow remembers how she first met her husband on their wedding anniversary. It shows them dancing at a ball, going to a festival, having fun dates here and there, and then... It shows the woman, sitting alone at the dining table as she looks at a picture of them together, smiling and genuinely happy. They were truly in love in a way most couples only dream of. Her tired eyes tear up, and as she sets the picture down, she puts her head in her hands and sobs.

Even if it appears less technical than other Chopin's pieces, it's here that the sensitivity of the pianist takes the most important part of the work. And how well did you prove it here : as I close my eyes, listening you playing this song, I find myself in a ballroom, carried by the different rhythms of this waltz. A very impressive work : it's living through your hands ! Thank you so much for sharing this moment, really.

Chopins style is so romantic and elegent ahh❤ This is actually the first Chopin I could ever play! It just sounds so- soothing. I swear I can fall asleep listening to this, though I never tried :^
