That Swingfire is legit and is such an overlooked rod! Love the Flatside Special, Launcher, and the Destroyer Javelin as well. The P-5 madbull is also a killer treble hook bait chunker as well. Another option is JDM Orochi XXX Black Elseil II for smaller finesse cranks.

I started out fishing Megabass Orochi XX rods from the Whipsnake, Jerkbait Special, Launcher, Perfect Pitch and Aklys. The Whipsnake and Perfect Pitch were the best of that series. I found the others to cause premature fatigue. This year I've moved up to the Destroyer P5 Tequilla Baccarac, Madbull and the Evoluzion Shamrock. The Destroyer P5 and Evoluzion are far and away far lighter, sensitive and powerful. I bought the Evoluzion and off you guys for Jerkbait's and I'm throughly satisfied with the rod and your service but not with FedEx.

Only one that applies to me would be the small crank rod lol. The ponds and lakes around me don’t average over 4-7 feet and many of them are silty. Good think I have the right rod I have the exact one you described just as a St. Croix Mojo Bass Glass. Got it on sale for $78 great rod! Throws the 1/4 oz ones great. I throw mainly squarebills to 6 foot divers. I’m going to get into the FlapSlap I don’t have one yet.

companies have been selling light and sensitive for so long that nobody believes glass has a place but once you go glass, you're not coming back. its sooo much better for lighter baits too. casts with like 1/3 the effort and you can still easily control a big fish. you don't have the rod pointed at the sky like you do with jig/worm rods so weight is not really a factor anyway with cranking/horizontal retrieve baits. you can even get heavy models that work for traps and bladed jigs in the grass.

Could ya'll do the same kind of breakdown on topwater rods for the Pop-X, Pop Max, etc? @@waynelagarde7956 for the money it’s tough to beat, I mostly throw squarebills and medium divers 1/2oz and below, I also have thrown lipless on it as well. It has great sensitivity for a cranking rod, it’s light and feels great.
