You created such an eye-popping tropical bird!! 🥰 I really appreciate hearing your thought process and how you can expand your color palette as you go!! 👏👏 It made me think of a car game my grandma taught me. It was called "my birds a pretty bird, what kind's yours?" The other person would name different birds until they got the right one, lol. But I think Pamela's bird beats them all!! 💙

I am a new subscriber and I must say that your videos are some most helpful videos I have seen. The way you talk us through it and share your thought process is very unique and so helpful. That is truly the way to help people learn how to do it on their own.Thank you so much. And I do hope you do a second video to finish up the picture.

I'm just thrilled to see you laying down the colors the same way I do. I'm my worst critic. I almost always think I could have done something better. Or anything someone else does is automatically better than what I can do. If that makes sense. (Try living in my head for a day.) 😆 Anywho, this was basically validating for me and please know how completely sincerely I mean this. Thank you for sharing.

I think it’s the ink...not so much the paper. Frequently when I’m blending, the ink joins in.. Not liking that at all. In her group, another member brought it up also.

I very much colour in this way. I pick my colours from using the colour wheel or colour palette 95% of the time. I then pick all my colours and allow myself white, black and greys to be used if needed too. I them write on a scrap bit of paper what I'm going to put where so I can see my colours are evened out on the page. I then start.

Right? About the ONLY time I pre-plan at all is if there are REAL living things in the photo, like animals/flowers things like that...for me, they HAVE TO be as close as possible to the real thing and if I can’t find reference photos, then they still have to be realistic colors for the the object.
