CHOAS of the Rut- Self Filmed Giant Buck goes down then mauled by a stud 9!
Спорт
This is one of the craziest rut days I’ve been part of. I was self filming in a thick rut area and there was too much happening to get it all on film. IT WAS CHAOS! Heavy grunts, fights, breeding, running, chasing, lockdowns, satellite bucks circling. I had waited almost 18 days on stand to have it all break lose and it did. This video is self filmed and shows you how it went down. I did my best just to try to stay on the main target buck and doe, find a lane and make my shot. Not everything went perfect as planned but that’s the reality of bowhunting and as real as it gets.

I love JDs ol self filmed hunts! He could easily have someone filming him, but he does it self film style
Wow Mr. Dudley. Really awesome buck. 👊
Cracked the spine on my target buck on the 16th. While not intentional, have to admit the %100 recovery rate is nice. Congrats dudley, was watching your stuff at camp as my hunt unfolded.
Been watching your videos for many years and learned how to tune and build my bow myself from your content. Seeing the excitement and enjoyment you get from taking down a rut crazed whitetail is so relatable. I too brought down my biggest buck to date on Nov. 8th this year. Man, I can't tell you how much I LOVE hunting whitetails with a bow and this video pretty much sums it up. Just raw emotion pouring out, love it!!
Let’s go Dud!!!!
That buck is unbelievable Dud!!!
That headgear is one of a kind, for sure! Wow.
The Dud is pumping out the content! I love it.
Way to make it happen. Great job!
That’s incredible action to witness!
Incredible!
Raw emotion. This is awesome to see congratulations on a freaking sweet Whitetail!
Congrats on another great buck. You put in the work to earn and deserve the success. Love following your journey dude!
That looks like the perfect shot set up for Nock-on course at Crystal Mountain next year!!! Congratulations that's an awesome buck
Beautiful buck!!! Love your content.
I look forward to your content each day Great work !
Congratulations Dud on a stud! Awesome job self filming. It’s not easy.
Way to close the deal JD, nice work!!
Self filming mature bucks is so hard. Congrats on getting it done. Haters gonna hate.
John “freaking” Dudley 😂. Cool buck👍🏻
New to archery...Just got my Mach 30 DS...love it!
Friggen Awesome Brother!!!
Siiiiick bro awesome man congrats!!!!!
Awesome buck congrats
Great moment to end that hunt! 🎉😅👍🦌🏹🤠
Thanks for sharing your joy and passion with us! If you could ever swing a gopro for a second angle that would be sick! There’s a lot we could learn from watching you in the tree!
Wow what an awesome deer. That second buck was ruthless. 😳😳😳. That was crazy.
Awesome John!!!! Crazy how that buck came in and worked over that dead one!!! Too bad you didn’t have another tag, wouldn’t that have been a crazy vid!!
I love the diversity of the terrain in the whitetail woods across the U.S. one guys thickest cover is another hunters normal woods. The swamps in Michigan and many other states are so thick ya gotta walking backwards through it most ofvthe way until you find an open area like Dud is hunting.
Congratulations brother!!!! Great Deer!!
Sickk!! 🤘
Awesome!
Great buck man.....I don't know how you and others do self fillming lol I wouldn't be able to concentrate on camera if a buck like that walks in shooting lane
BEAST
💚
Your blessed
Wild hunt !
Looks like Tennessee could have another record in the books. 26 point buck was killed in union County. A 24 pointer was token in Campbell. Waiting on official scores
Congratulations John you are with out a doubt one of the best archers and teachers out there! I’m a better archer because of your teaching. But man is that a ethical shot attempt?
That's world class shooting for me just incredible😮 dope buck great experience
Crazy watching that other buck lol.
That second buck was a real jerk😂

Great job Dud you know how to get it done!
Did the other buck rip up the cape for a mount ?
How long did it take to get thick like that after cutting it?
@nockonarchery

It takes a few years depending on how open the forest floor was to start
Congrats brother!!. 👏 👏 What a hog!!
What luck 😂😂😂 this shows how anyone can make mistakes
Why don’t you ever stop animals? That is not just a part of bowhunting it is something that could have easily been stopped if you would have stopped him!

Stopping animals can also cause it to happen since it puts them on alert which can increase their reaction to the shot.

I have had negative results from alerting them to stop. If I’m inside of 20 yards I elect not to. That’s just me. String jumpers are more unpredictable IMO.

I've stopped before and I've noticed they react alot more because of thier alertness, a few deer I've taken without alerting didn't even notice they've been hit
Awesome!!!
