Yeah, higher level duels are nuts. Some people do inhuman moves and it's so scary to fight but it's really cool at the same time. It's a fun break from the regular combat for sure!

Yeah, a fight with Yoda is insane lmao. He's such a fun fight because he spins like a BeyBlade.

This explains why you can find LoneShadowFox (lvl1000) every single day in the beginner lobbies.

There's no skill based matchmaking. I'm level 500 and something and still match people who are like 20-400 mostly but every so often I get 400-800. It's pretty rare I fight 1000s but I do come across them. So for LoneShadowFox he probably comes across the same thing. I've fought him a few times before but I don't really play the 3v3 playlist too often. Mostly see me in Duels whenever I'm on Chiv

@@commygt my guy, you might not know it BUT... LoneShadowFox absolutely haunted the beginner lobbies for weeks a few months ago. My nephew was trying to learn to play, and every day it was the same lvl 1000 dude slaying newbies. LoneShadowFox is 100% the reason that a 13 year old child decided to stop playing the game before he could even make it out of a beginner lobby. It was irony that I came across this video and saw him mentioned. Also, I never said anything about skill based matchmaking. Bottom line, a lvl 1000 has about as much business in a beginner lobby as I do at lvl 632.

@@timhoffman7035 Skill based matchmaking has everything to do with it? How are you 632 and not know that because there's no SBMM you can match anyone? You don't get to pick which lobbies you are in. So there's no such thing as "getting out of a beginner lobby." They're all random, that's what I was trying to say. I get accused of only terrorizing low level lobbies every so often but there's no such thing. So I can't really help stomping low levels. I'm not going to leave 80% of my games or let them kill me every single game. Anyone can fight anyone, that's the beauty of it I think. There just happens to be a lot more low levels in the dueling playlists... for whatever reason, idk why people jump straight into 1v1s when just starting a game lol... but yeah, there's just a lot of new players which is great. Huge lack of people around our level but when we match each other it's fun because you gotta sit up and sweat your ass off lmao. But like I said I mostly get low levels and just blow right through them because there's hardly any high levels to match against. And yeah ofc a level 1000 is going to blow through them faster than I will, those dudes live on this game. They probably do the same thing I do which is just getting through low levels as fast as they can until they can fight high levels. If the game matched you exclusively against people your level you wouldn't have as much fun. I'm insane at Halo and R6 and when I play those games I only fight other people who are Onyx/Diamond 1 respectively. It's mad annoying because even the social games playlists have SBMM. But when you play Chiv 2 that isn't a thing so you still fight both types of players. Just more low levels because there's more low levels in ration to high levels. I know I mentioned that point like five times now, sorry lol. But if I'm like really looking for high levels I go into those dueling servers in the custom games browers. Those usually got some super sweaty people, I just look around for 'em. But I don't want to ONLY play in those lobbies either because running around and searching for people is so boring. Whereas in 1v1s or 3v3s it's like you know who your target is, it's fast paced, and it can be fun in 3s having an audience if your team dies and you 1v3 successfully. But yeah, Idrk ShadowFox like that. Played him a few times, he doesn't seem toxic at all, he's always been respectful in duels. But I feel for him because it's not like we get to choose who we fight and if we just leave every single game someone isn't over like level 500 then you'd be leaving like 30 games to get 1 potential game. That's so much time wasted. Just wanna jump on and play Chiv sometimes after work. I don't even really play this game but casually.

now i see why the high levels i fight dont expect the kicks, but then you have the guy rushing with the jab, kick, kick, jab slash kill

Yeah I try my best to just watch out for that kick animation. I actually get even more focused after the first kick because I expect the second. Usually people who kick just spam it. But going against high level guys they never use it, so when they do it's maaaaan lol.

I usually time my heavy drags in a certain way to punish people. What I normally do is go back and forth with counters pretty fast, I don't feint, and that develops a pattern of fast attacks. Then when I think my opponent is use to this exchange I mix it up with a heavy drag with a slow weapon like the ex. axe. Or if I'm going against someone with a fast weapon I'll do the same thing but use my mace instead since it's a little faster but can still use the same technique. I do like to do 360s though but it's risky against people this high in level, I feel like I gotta keep an eye on them 24/7 haha

It's not abuse. Swing manipulation is okay and a part of the game, much like Mordhau. The devs are okay with it, it's even said how to do it in the tutorial. It's also punishable as you can see I was able to kill him a few times. It's a high risk/high reward way of playing. It's just hard to do and hard to read but it's not cheap! I don't quite fully understand how to do it but I've fought against it enough to know what to kinda look for :) Also you can do it with any two handed weapon, not just the messer!
