i hope they can implement the kraken so its like a wandering mystery monster that attacks for specific reasons (like one of those cursed chests you can get) instead of just being a one time macguffin for a story or something you have to deal with all the time.

There is a Kraken but it is not in the current version of the game. In the full release it won't be a spawned creature like sharks but will always be around. It will roam the ocean looking for ships, you will know it's found you because the music will change and the water will go dark. It is apparently quite hard to beat and many crews may need another crew to save them from it.

I'm sure they'll make servers only hold like maybe 64 people or something... No way would it be somewhat enjoyable spawning in and you don't even have to scuttle your own ship you're constantly getting spawn raided/killed at Islands and outposts...
