indo chinese is the best in calcutta as there is a huge Chinese community that have adapted authentic Chinese with Indian spices . You can tell the other guy was being too fussy he hadn't even tried the chicken so you knew he wasn't open to trying

@@flymetotheup9904 As someone from Northeast I am happy we are getting more recognition but it's also sad people don't know of Chinese community who came to India and settled here during the time of British rule. They also started the Indian-Chinese cuisine which are so popular in whole of India now.

The place you went to is not authentic indo - chinese. You should try indo chinese in Tangra, Kolkata, where it was created.

Authentic chinese food is not tasteless. As a north eastern, we don't eat much masalas as mainland indians. So, we can really appreciate authentic chinese ( Cantonese and Mandarin) cuisine. Indo chinese is best in Tangra, Kolkata. And I have also tasted it in a place called Chinatown in Guwahati, where the owner is indian - chinese. Also, surprisingly, I came across this place called Chung fa in Shimla which made one of the best indo - chinese cuisine. The owner is an old chinese man who makes hand rolled noodles and my god, they were heavenly.

You should simply eat 'Chinese bhel' and 'Gobi Manchurian chilly' which is Indo Chinese cuisine and you will be amazed....let me tell you one thing veg tastes more good in Indo Chinese cuisines

The chinese hate indian food. That's why. You will never see a chinese in an indian restaurant. The guy on the right is a typical eg. You can see his prejudice even after the food was clearly good. And I bet that chicken fried rice would taste better (to Indians) than the authentic prob mild Chinese version.
