CHINESE STYLE STIR FRIED CELERY AND MUSHROOM | SHERSON LIAN

Today is all about quick and easy. We’re doing Chinese style stir fried celery, and mushrooms. If you constantly find yourself wondering what to do with the extra celery that’s in your fridge. This is a recipe for you. Not only is it quick and easy but it’s also one of my favorite stirfry dishes and it’s really healthy. Give this a try and let me know what you’re thinking to comments below.
Ingredients:
✏️Celery - A Whole
✏️Boiling water
✏️Pinch of salt
✏️6 or 7 Cloves - Garlic
✏️4 - 5 nos - Ginger (Sliced)
✏️Oil
✏️200g - White shitake Mushroom
✏️2 tbsp - Soy sauce
✏️1 tbs - Oyster sauce
✏️2 tbsp - Kambucha
✏️White pepper

Sherson Lian is the co-founder of Makhan by Kitchen Mafia, a restaurant in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia and Kitchen Mafia, an F&B solutions company that offers catering, private dining/chef's table sessions, and restaurant/menu consultancy among other services.

    Hey there, i blanched the celery before frying because i wanted to scald the celery first. It allows me to quicken the time it takes to cook in the stir frying process. And its easier to control the doneness without accidentally over cooking them. Hope this helps :)

    Not a fan of celery, I'm here for the shrooms! Haha You can throw bittergourd, okra, brinjal at me. I'll devour them. There's just something about celery...maybe like coriander to some people. Blanching helps with improving taste? It changes?

    I recognized the bottle, it is Lee Kum Kee Selected Dark Soy Sauce.
