Once obscure to anyone outside China’s southern Liuzhou city, pungent noodles known as luosifen exploded in popularity among young Chinese diners during the Covid-19 pandemic. Served in a broth made with river snails, the noodles have a strong flavour that often draws comparisons to another local favourite dish, durian fruit. Luosifen is now even starting to attract fans in nearby countries.

I also love this noodles. I think i ate this noodles more than 100 times, spicy and sour with many ingredients. Actually it’s not crazy smelly .
I remember watched Liziqi’s channel, she made snail noodle about 5 years ago. I think some companies used her recipe to run their own business, they should share their profits for her hard works.
Once you digest these noodles, your pooh will likely smell epic at a 100 mile radius.
love this noodle
Absolutely love the noodle!
I have eaten this many times I won't call it very smelly when I was vegetarian I used to eat often without knowing it has snail lol but since I started eating meat I haven't eaten might try today.
Sell it in France, they eat snails over there.
Whats the background song? Its so beautiful
I tried this noodle in Guilin, delicious.
We can sell the Asian supermarket in Wester countries (such as Canada, US, UK, Australia, New Zealand etc).
Cool I guess but can’t try sense I’m deadly allergic to shellfish and intern Mollusks
I always can't get over the smell, reminds of gutter or the WC tbh and it hits you like a punch, it's in the same league as Durian or stinky tofu... The smell lingers in the air for hours up to a whole day if a single portion is made or served indoors without adequate circulation. Fermented bamboo shoots are very pungent, however, the taste of the dish as a whole is quite subtle and not nearly as bad IF you leave out or use less of the hot and sour bamboo.
螺蛳粉 yum!!! Ate it in 南宁,中国。
I'm sure my kind is smellier!
Tried it and couldn't stomach it... It was indeed smelly!
I lived in china as young , i have never heard of before, i have heard about smelly tofu.. but i hve never ate them before, in the south, we like roast ducks, goose, pig, we eat fresh water fishes and we eat mostly rice, noobles, soya suaces etc,,

Just for your information. Snail noodles have nothing to do with snail. There’s not even protein in there. It’s basically junk food.

the broth is made of snail though, it's junk food. but nowadays people like junk food, they can eat a lot and don't gain weight. you don't really need so much protein.

If your definition of junk means hamburgers or instant noodles, sure, you can lump Luosifen as instant versions of it was created. But original recipes does contain snail/conch meat.

@@tazboy1934 i can get enough protein from other foods. snail noodle doesn't have to have protein. can you understand?
India 🇮🇳 doesn't even have a Michelin Star restaurant, - That goes to show Indian cuisine is not so much popular with the rest of the world. - Very oily, overspiced and overcooked - Perfect for those looking to go to the next other world asap through diabetes, heart attacks, high cholesterol, high blood pressure etc.
